The anime also shows him 10 years later at the end of season 1, almost as implying there wouldn't be a second season because of that "flashforward". The fact that he impregnated a girl 3 months after going to this world (so like in 25 years of our time since he is on day 20 something I think) and then left her to go fuck 5 beastgirls daily and dungeon exploring just shows how much of an asshole the protagonist is. Does he impregnates a girl in the novel too? I wouldn't doubt, but you never know

From what I heard, the anime got review bombed, most likely because of the 'sex slave' part. So the chances of anime second season are, for now, pretty slim and it's most likely the reason for the thin chapters as of late; the artist lost the interest.
Redo of Healer treatment?
Anyway, sad to hear that....but with this I have to think that everyone lost interest, even the novelist (cosidering there's a comment saying novel is also slow). Very sad, because, if one is able to go beyond the sex slave = bad bs, the story feels actually worth it.

This manga feel off hard with the super slow pace and now short ass chapters.....
I wonder if the artist isn't feeling well (then again ppl say in the original ln, it's also split into 'parts' but it seems like more in txt form lol), b/c i feel like some would try to make it 15-20, just to get paid more per page unless the mangaka/magazine pays per chapter lol

That thing looks like a walking stick. It also looks like it will snap immediately if you try to hit a hard object with it.
well it is a 'magical world' where sherry can 'poof' 'ingredients' into making one so maybe it'll be reinforced. tho be interesting if some kinda cane-sword could exist

This differentiation of wands and canes reminds me of the differences between wands and staves in Diablo II. A staff is two-handed, but in return it can hold more and more powerful enchantments. But they're really just two different stat sticks, not weapons.

I like Roxanne's enthusiasm.

I get the impression Roxanne has a certain future she prefers.

It's the second time I see you talking about paranoia. Can you explain a bit more? Is this about his concerns that the church or kingdom will hunt him down if they discover he can change classes/jobs at will? I think I remember something like that from dozens and dozens of chapters ago?

Obviously not the same person, but hopefully I can help explain things.

Here is a brief snippet of dialogue, from what Light Novel Translations (hate the site) gives as Volume 7, Chapter 1 Part 8.
That, or he might openly call it strange that someone who was just recently seen on the fifteenth or sixteenth floor got attacked on twelfth or thirteenth floor. That is why I think that the safest areas to which we might be going without attracting any kind of suspicion would be the thirteenth or fourteenth floor of Haruba’s Labyrinth, but the fifteenth, sixteenth or seventeenth floors should be a no-go for us for the time being, or at least until this situation with the Bandit’s Intelligence Cards doesn’t get resolved in our favor.

If anyone sees us on these floors and reports it, then it’s only going to get more convoluted and confusing for me to explain it later, so if we can avoid bringing such needless fears upon ourselves, then we should do everything in our power to ensure that something like that does not happen.

This is the later two paragraphs of five continuous on paranoia about turning in Bandit bounty cards. The written form tends to have us dwell inside Michio's head, and his stream of thoughts dwells on subjects for a while. So when his paranoia triggers, it usually isn't just a small paragraph.

And sure, it is in part because he can do things much more in-depth than the Church's own class change, and the fact that one of his first jobs he accidentally got was thief, but primarily it is things like his skills. His warp isn't limited to in Dungeons, or in special areas, but he is not blocked by anything. If he wanted to portal into a nobles room and assassinate them while sleeping, he could.

Partially yes, and if his 'Hero' job could be revealed he will be hunted as someone who want to usurp the throne.
Also not on the level of Seiya but he very cautious, even to his party. Because he feared they will lose all respect for him. Novel also goes Deep into his inner though and its goes very long, like few paragraphs. He do have a reasons, especially if we consider his suicidal tendency before arriving in this world, but author not handled its very good his though always go in circles for so long.
Later on Duke (elf) will invite him in a secret society of nobles who also conquers of dungeons as well. There open secret that one of his new acquaintances is a former king who recently stepped down from a throne, that gives more headaches for MC and for us as a stray bullets.

Makes me think of some comic relief scene where it's like "Outta mana! ...Time to do this the old fashioned way" and swinging it like a bat if not some sharp jab to the gut lol (tho it's established in this world that you feel 'depressed' when ur running low on mana so hopefully it's not too much of a weak point but i guess you'd be casting spells a bit further away versus quick-switching to a sword to replenish mana)

You got the end of your spoiler wrong:
He meets the current emperor, Gaius Principus n’Impera.
He didn't abdicate, but for safety reasons he had to wait for his heir to be old enough to inherit the throne, before he was able delve into his dangerous obligation to subjugate labyrinths.

Does he impregnates a girl in the novel too?
At my knowledge* it's in the WN, but not in the LN.
The kid is anime exclusive content.

* = I did not read the WN, just the LN. (The WN translation I was able to find was a serious threat to both Godzilla, and my sanity.)

After the 4th girl joins the harem, they find a way to obtain the shrine maiden job for all the girls.
In the end Roxanne will be chosen as the best option to hold into that job, nice foreshadowing in this chapter. :)

Different races are not interfertile, so he can't get anyone other than a human pregnant.

As for the paranoia, I've only skimmed some of the LNs and yeah, it's a lot and an editor would help. But basically had an incredibly shitty life growing up (to the point where suicide is considered a good choice), then gets dumped into a world where he realizes his every move or choice could lead to death. And as suggested, he hides his skills because A) Hero could get him executed, B) others knowing about his abilities could also lead to dangers, and C) he thinks that even letting the other girls know could accidentally lead to secrets leaking. You know what they say, two people can keep a secret if one of them is dead.

Is his paranoia entirely warranted? Probably not. Does that paranoia make for great narrative structure and reading? Not to this extent.

Edit: Oh, and it's not just his actual skills which are wild, but the meta-level abilities. This is an RPG-mechanics world, but the people living it don't know that, everything they know about skills and such is limited by trial and error.

Mira the catgirl meme master.

More spoilers bellow.

She REALLY loves fish, but is otherwise a little bit of an airhead.
she does try to follow orders when she is told what to do.
But she also gives 0 fucks about anything uninteresting if it is not worth its weight in fish and is energetic and hyperactive.
So she sometimes struggle to focus on things that does not give her immediate access to MORE FISH.

She was sold into slavery because she illegally fished for dinner where she was not allowed too.
The reason she was caught was that she spent too much time deciding on which off her illegally caught fish was the best.
but is very perceptive even if she does not always act on it.

She is also a surprisingly a good chef ( because it makes her fish taste better ) and picks up MC´s recipes very fast.

The reason she gets added to the party is because of how observant she is.
Her observation skill is on the same level as Roxanne dodging skills.
She usually notices the MC doing his shenanigans before everyone else in the party, but does not care most of the time.
and her observation skills allow her to see even invisible traps alot of times.

The talk about "chant interruption" on spears was foreshadowing her, as she uses both spears, swords and daggers.

She gets " Ninja" as her job,and becomes a front-line rouge type of character who specialize in de-buffing opponents.
The ninja class have stealth abilities but also makes "lucky hits" like critical strikes and " on hit effects " more likely.

Once she gets weapons with stuff like poison, silence, chant interruption and other debuffs from " on hit effects" she becomes a monster at killing bosses as you only need to de-buff 1 opponent for huge benefits.

Later on in the story she even gets petrification which makes her sometimes start 1 shooting monsters.
wtf so crazy
