It bothers me SO MUCH how he never says anything and he still does not trust them at all.
He could just say: "you know I have this skill that does this thing and I don't know why". But nooo he has to be paranoid. I mean, they ALREADY saw him doing a lot of things that should be impossible, so where's the problem with one more? But, drama!

And it's not just the skills. He already thought several times at this point how much he cares about Roxanne. But being a paranoid little fucker, he won't tell her

As a result, even if he loves them, it will take a while for him to work through his issues which led him to try and commit suicide. And considering his OP abilities, even if Sherry and Roxanne cannot hurt him because they are slaves, he fears any talk in any place could be overheard, which would lead him to be made a slave.

MC better becomes a merchant instead of an adventurer. He is very sharp when negotiated with the slave trader and auction broker. He also know basic economy which seems lacking in common people in this world (they're medieval peasent afterall). He still has to lvl up Sherry's master smith tho to secure his semi-retired plan.

At least in the WN he gets nearly every single job that is possible to get. He has apparently played at least one old-school crpg as that seems to be what the character creator in vol. 0 is based on. Having the determination to sit there and click away until getting 99 bonus points really helps you start down that OP path.

@Nehona Strength comes from Paranoia.
Also, paranoia is a great confidence booster; it convinces you that you're actually important enough for "them" to care about. And as is the case for so many MCs, not knowing how people will react to their strange and/or OP abilities convinces them to keep quite about those abilities.
My Cheat Skill [Resurrection] is an excellent example of what can happen to someone with an OP skill.

Both this chapter and the previous one, I expected some kind of fake out on the chapter title. As in, they're not Palmasque (1) & (2) but... Abstinence Attack (11) & (12)

I don't know what's wrong. Did the chapter title continuing past where it did in the novel break my mind?

The manga follows the LN chapter names.
When the manga covered LN Volume 5 Chapter 2 Abstinence Attack, the manga chapters were named "Abstinence Attack ()".
Now the manga coves LN Volume 5 Chapter 3 Palmasque, so the manga chapters will be named "Palmasque ()".
Yes, it's extremely lazy. I don't know whose fault (decision) this is/was.

Not only this, but he also has tried to explain things within what he considers safe enough not to out all of his powers in the safety of his anti-teleport cement house, and they just don't believe him. Roxanne accepts it as "Because it's Master" while Sherry just gives up and shuts down any thought about it because it doesn't make sense.

The story's moving along pretty quickly. Michio visited Zabir's labyrinth twice this chapter, and we didn't see a single monster either time.

I like my slow slice of life so hopefully they continue it rather slowly in progression, then again it’s obviously never going to be as slow as the LN and that’s when reading both comes in handy
