That is what his futre elf slave says to everything. It's really quite annoying. The future girls personalities can be summed up in their catch phrases. "Fish desu!" "I Think" "That will be useful in the lord's assembly"
Yup. After the first two, the rest are pretty much just fuck dolls with little to no personality.
It's a shame really seeing how good the author was with Roxanne and Sherry.

I'm hoping things will get better once we get past where the WN is. Hopefully the author will deop a lot of the boring fights and develop the characters. If the LN doesn't do that maybe the manga will since they already handwave all of the fights.

Other than fan service, which is to each their own (can't deny that the art is pretty good), the only reason to read this is to see how the manga adds actual content where there is none.

Its win-win, since he if adapts it as it is written it takes all of 30 secs to a 1 min to get through a chapter and when he makes changes/adds content then I might see a miracle where he salvages it sort of how Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya found it's groove for awhile (but I kind of doubt he'll go too far because he'd probably want to save his best ideas for an original manga of his own).

I feel like there is a better example of someone adapting a manga from another source and putting their own ideas into it and striking gold in the process... Oh well.

It's a life saver. If you take damage that would kill you, you instead drop to 1 HP and the item is lost.
The Sacrificial Item actually takes the hit for you and you take no damage. This occurs later in the LN during a duel. Ofcourse next time you get hit, you're toast.

You seem to have read the WN or LN, the MC keeps secrets because he knows that having the hero job is considered treason by the empire and they will hunt him down and murder him for it.
Still, he probably SHOULD trust Roxanne at least and perhaps Sherry with a bit more than he does (maybe a lot more) but by keeping these things secret and vague he prevents them from accidentally exposing him while he deals directly with the very same people/organizations that would be directly responsible for seeing that he is hunted down if the true reason for his abilities are known.

For example (if the MC told them about his abilities), If the King or someone close to the king actually knows how appraise works and that is the direct result of being a "hero" or from "another world" and Sherry casually/inadvertently mentions to the elf slave or some other person that the MC is able to tell when smithing will work and/or can "see" skill slots.
Then the Elf or some other high ranking person (the MC doesn't interact much with low ranking people) may innocently bring this up in conversation and a rumor spreads until it goes high enough for the MC to receive a nice invite from the king for a "chat".
Michio eventually becomes the 49 year old Emperor's big brother and helps him out to pursue his sexual perversions... Lol!

MC better becomes a merchant instead of an adventurer. He is very sharp when negotiated with the slave trader and auction broker. He also know basic economy which seems lacking in common people in this world (they're medieval peasent afterall). He still has to lvl up Sherry's master smith tho to secure his semi-retired plan.
then it would be boring manga

I think the lacking of common sense can be attributed beside to being peasants, also the over reliance on skill. Like there's even skill to calculate stuff? Instead of relying on "common sense".
