Much like late 90s - early 2000s when you had thrash and death bands popping out Nu Metal albums. That shit passes but in hindsight it's always the studios and producers pushing for it.If we have a "glam metal" looking dude, I guess we'll have more stereotypes in the future.
70s metal and 80s glam metal? It's hard to say that it was a "fight", since bands like Judas Priest and Scorpions took advantage of that movement to sell like crazy.
Oh and the djentification of Metalcore bands in the post Bleed era. That was so sad.
