The Oath of Vengeance is from what I hear even one of the most popular oaths for a Paladin in 5E. The short version of that oath is that it revolves around punishing wrongdoers by any means necessary. Killing in this case would be perfectly in line with it, since he's obviously Evil, and killing him prevents the risk of escape.

So tired of this braindead take on what lawful represents.

Thought the same. However people pointed out the lord he is talking about is the undead he is trying to use to assault the temple, so maybe he is only trying to gain his favour.

Being lawful as a requirement for paladins haven't been a thing for a long while.

Yes, and the idea that Paladins had to be lawful good only was never a really popular one. That's what led to the Anti-Paladin, Blackguard, Fallen Paladin, etc. classes and prestige classes, until finally one edition of Dragon Magazine finally capitulated and gave variations for Paladins of every flavour so long as they remained Lawful (as in followed the code of their order), since they are effectively just mortal exemplars of their deity. Only thing that wasn't a thing was Chaotic Paladins, because of the aforementioned requirement of following a code.

Yeah, and so what? You’re not the GM, get over yourself. She isn’t an Oath of Vengeance member, she would be Oathbreaker to execute someone without trial or bringing the charges to the lord.

Braindead is thinking every instance of execution should be done instantly instead of by trial. Braindead is being you who thinks they are always right no matter what context they are talking about, like this manga.
