They never make it. They souls were destroyed before they got to this world. If i remember this particular part correct. Even if they would survive there no future for them either. The 'Three Apprentices' were repeatedly summoning people to make experiment on 'Hero System', so instead of world to save they summoned into he Lab. MC will find it and they souls eventually. There few 'Survivors' from different lab that gonna be entrusted to MC as well.

They were subjected to experimentation by the three apprentice gods. One of the other people who got summoned, one among thousands, left some sort of diary detailing their experiences. The diary seemed to be very old, way older than expected, and hinted that this experimentation has been going on for a very long time.

However he can't withstand all the power he gets and ends up sacrificing himself in the final battle before his spirit crumbles away. Final chapter is a glimpse of a world that still remembers him many years later.

Thank you for the update! On page 2, "he mentioned a sister" might make more sense as "my sister mentioned (them/these/something like this) before" or something like that. Seeing as he can't understand them, and also "my sister mentioned it before" was how he learned about isekai in general back in chapter 1, that at least makes the most sense to me.
