This is a bit repetitive, but an interesting and more original take nonetheless.

Dude, no. I just finished the novel.
Its not boring.
Its not slow either, just tye beginning.
As a matter of fact, when you reached the ending, you would wish for this slow life to continued forever😭😭😭😭
Its a story with wayyyyy deeper plot.
He remains unambitious, but it fits him.
In short, you would ended up having existential crisis.

I have finished the novel.
It started nice and fluffy.
But it went serious once he started to confront the gods that isekaied him.
A quick summary
Akira became god of that Earth and simultaneously created a new world called 'Cursed World' because his main power is cursed power.
There are two other worlds, 1 Gods Nation (where the final bosses resides, yes. BOSSES because most of them are corrupt but pretending to be good. 2 Demon World, where the evil gods are originally from gods nation but was corrupted/brainwashed to think that they are evil.
Demon World are Cursed World first ally. It took some cleansing before Gods Nation formally allied with Cursed World. But the original god from where akira is from was already helping him out at cleaning her shit, tho she's not really at fault for isekaiing akira.
That being said, the story isn't really about Akira saving this new Earth, he did do the saving but not on purpose and mostly by his new families (his rock dolls, the forest gods, his adopted childrens, the dragons). The story is actually about how he took revenge on the gods that isekaied him and consequently unravel the truths about how gods came to be and the unspeakable deeds the gods have done to many other unfortunate souls.
Since he's very OP, the gods can't stop him. Some did came close, but there are toooooo many souls wishing for revenge so they giving Akira their help on defeating their abusers.
A good revenge story.
And you think there's nothing go wrong after all that right?
He gonna just chill jist like how he is when he first get isekai right?

Ending
Akira realized that he is just a human with god's power. His body and sould cant keep up. He's aware that he will die.
OMG the last few chapters was hella sad. His announcement, his final moments with his families. His final goodbye to his first creation before going to his final battle. HIS FINAL BATTLE!! omg, he's literally disintegrate mid battle but he still remains calm. But I'm glad he wast alone when he ceased to exist. The soul of the OG hero that was tormented by the gods and is now resides within him finally woke up and giving his last power to help him beat the very final boss. Being the kind akira, "you should woke up earlier so that we can spend more time together, now you going to die with me". "It's ok, I'm glad i can still help you". Then they both die. 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Most of us expecting that but still!
It gave me existential crisis. Like, after all that sacrifice, you just die? Mind you, the gods (god's apprentice) that isekaied him got reincarnated as punishment!! Sure, without their powers but reincarnated regardless! Akira just went poof gone!
He did say he have no regrets but still 😭😭😭😭😭
After reading, i just went numb. Like, ok, I've read other stories that after the heroic acts, the hero just stays in the background, no glory. But at least he still alive, having family whatnot. BUT AKIRA JUST WIPED OUT FROM EXISTENCE!
it just make you question your like yknow? Like, whats my purpose? What will happen to me after i died?😭
But it's a good ending regardless. So many unanswered questions but the author is firm with the ending.
In short, i will read this again.
It's my favorite.
The ending is perfect and i will fight the author if they decide to give a sequel.
DON'T 👏RUIN👏MY👏 EXPERIENCE 👏
So yeah, give the novel a try. The manga will take forever and idk if they bother to make an anime. But i think the other story by the author, the trash girl with her slime friend got animated? Or was is a different slime girl?
