You're forgetting a teeeensy detail... All the other nations around this one do exactly the same, or worse..
That "Garbage" is created by tossing summoned who are no longer needed ( or presumably become too dangerous to handle/control ) into a "demon realm" to play a nice little Death Game...

Same as killing the Chancellor.. He could, easily. There's just the tiny, insignificant detail that the Chancellor is the key to the slavery magic controlling the ladies, including his wife..
And there's no telling what will happen if the Chancellor suddenly expires. It might be that the magic gets cancelled, but MC is familiar with the standard slavery contract tropes and realises that there's very good odds that there's a kill-switch involved.
So the Chancellor lives, for now.

Same with the grouching that MC "does not care for his classmates".
He does, and is actually depicted aiding his classmates in meeting their quota and keeping them out of harm's way as far as he's able and present up to the point where they should be able to take care of their own problems.
But there's only so much one man can do, and his priority is his waifu. Period.

So yes.. given the alternatives, living a relatively comfortable life as a battle/sex slave is the only viable option. For now.
And he's using that option to the best of his ability, using that famous japanese deadpan face that does very well to hide his feelings and plans.

I hope they at least justify him not killing the chancellor yet because he doesn't know what would happen to the master/slave contract if he did. There's a chance killing the master will kill all their slaves. Other than that, yeah, I hope the MC pulls his head out of his ass and starts caring a bit more about his allies or something other than sex with one girl. He was helping them early on but then just kinda rolled over when a few of his classmates were about to be raped. Seems a bit contradictory to his previous behavior.

He should at least be trying to find out how the master/slave contract works and if it's possible to class change the girls back or something. That would even be beneficial for him to not have his girl threatened with rape constantly. The MC acquiring 0 information about the world except from an agent the chancellor directly controls (Catgirl) is hilarious. He just fucking takes her at her word.

The other thing I wish he'd consider is "Hmm, maybe the chancellor is forcing the women slaves to make their men docile and not try to escape/fight back". Sure, seems like the mind control only affects their actions so far since the stripping girl could still talk how she wanted, but there's no guarantee. Chancellor also said "My orders are absolute".

The MC started off pretty smart, and now he's just unga bunga, no brain, just sex. I don't know how he got to the point of thinking he can just violence his way past everything, especially with mind control dude existing. Hope he starts trying to learn more about how shit works in their world. Knowledge is also power... and he is entirely ignorant atm about shit in their world that could potentially wreck his comfy life. We know that Chancellor and Co are capable of forcefully changing people's classes for example, and the MC clearly hasn't even considered that it could somehow be used on him without warning, at range.

He's not even being selfish properly atm, he's just acting like an arrogant fool. Always the chance his derpy behavior is intentional by the author and he's going to get a wake up call soon and start using his brain again, would be pretty sad if this is just bad writing.

Or it could mean he is something like a Demon Core. Like from that famous radiation disaster experiment.
