It's the webnovel that has ended because the author didn't have the mood to do it anymore and decided instead of doing what he didn't want to do anymore, he looked for a way to end it quickly. So you do get an actual ending.

It's also not a hot garbage. It's better than most isekai you will see translated, which is not saying much, but it is better. When the webnovel ended, readers were like "Dude! There is a lot more story to tell, don't stop there!"
