I like how the group decided to put a "The End, This Serie was Axed", but this is pretty much how the WN ended, but manga added the side story with them getting married from the LN lmao, it adapted 5/5 LN volumes, contrary to what it say at the end, so no it wasn't axed, the Novel was short and the ending was just this lame

And damn, this adaptation ended 2 years ago, it pretty much started when the sources were already finished so there was nothing else to do here anyway (WN ended in 2016, LN Vol. 5 was published in 2016 and this started in 2018, so yeah)

Not really an axe tho. This is how the novel ended.
Guess the author just ran out of ideas on where to go next then. Time traveling waifu from the future to save the day only to vanish immediately sounds like the perfect axe ending after the sudden introduction of an impossible threat. Could have had her stick around and cause hijinks with the younger Yuel to easily make more content.

Considering the barebone quality of this story, this ending is decent enough. No need to milk it further...

So, despite feeling like it was axed, it was supposed to end like this?

You see, this is the point the manga should expand a bit on the original work, to make the ending feel more proper and less rushed.

...

Well, about the ending in itself,
can't say for sure how to feel about this.

Can you call it grooming if the only reason he did it was because of how far a version of her that was not raised by him went for his sake with this as her only real wish?
On the other hand, this version of her did not grow up in a world without him.

Would have been better if the future one had at least stayed up to this point, so she was the one to be married even if only on her last moments of existence, but would serve as a promisse for her past self...
But I guess him marrying the younger version is the "joke". ...and I don't get it.
