@Genspenst I have a feeling its a social ranking. Those who come from the Capital are seen as being socially superior. Though in that world it might have to do with power as I doubt the Dragons, Zabuton, the strongest wolves and the best at their job would live in the second city. I would say it holds some validity as one would think that the Capital cities are the most advance and up to date in most things with highest population density. I hope they don't treat them as secondary citizens and that the MC will at least treat them as the same.

I still do wonder if MC's cities will be able to survive after he dies since they villages are built in lands where crops don't do well unless the AMFT is the one that prepares the ground. Unless MC can't die since God made him unable to get sick and to have a healthy body. Mutations are a part of sickness and the major reason we die, so if his cells don't mutate then he shouldn't die per se unless killed or he has a natural limit to his life. The only reason why your body starts to age is the mutations too and ill management of your body.

@xyzzy actually, the 1st chapter. When he asked to be a farmer, god had to 'call' someone else. He got the AFT after god got off the 'phone'. The novel adds a minor clarification there, that his farming request was outside that god's 'jurisdiction'.
