The sex doesn't mean anything to me; I'm trying to figure out the plot.
The fact that the MC is competent and isn't terrified of sex resonates with me- I cannot abide dickless MC's that stumble and stammer and run away from sex- it's just difficult for me to stay engaged with a story that has an inconsistent release schedule because the TL gets cold feet and loose bowels.
