...and after Daisuke and the gang killed the Chimera and its minions (with Ashley contributing the most in this arc before Daisuke fires the killing shot), the village higher-ups will still keen on executing Ashley.

The stuck-up village elder will not let the gang out of their house arrest even seeing how powerful they are, the gang are the only ones that can kill the Chimera, and even when they see the Chimera later, killing civilians and his own troops
