Komatsu used period as a "cock block", well she's not emotionally stable right now but that was just a head pat... hahah... right? Not like she was trying to take advantage of the time... 
Even with the mask on, Komatsu is far too expressional to hide her face
Dunno why Komatsu is feeling like Kotou trying to puppeteer her, he has a valid point and she is interested in him but when he looses control Kotou is scary, he is trying to change for her to be at ease...
Night watch would be terrifying for "old" Komatsu, but she did have a huge confidence boost lately and although was about to break, managed to get through the night flawlessly in the end. Komatsu is really amazing!
Hopefully Kotou will notice praising Komatsu is working better than being harsh, it also makes them closer together
