Great, Hiromi is about to ruin another relationship. Why? Because he still can’t get over Lili. He spent most of this date thinking about her instead of focusing on Nonoka or the date itself. Jumping into a relationship right now feels like a slap in the face to all the development he’s had since coming to Wakayama. It’s like his conversation with Yakuri never even happened.

Yet here he is, getting ready to start something with Nonoka without being fully invested in her as a person. I just don’t see this relationship lasting. It’s not going to end well. Maybe if the writer intended for him to stay in Wakayama, it could have worked, but that’s clearly not the case since we know he’ll eventually go back to Tokyo. So why have him try to start a relationship now?

Between the previous chapter and this one, there are still a lot of unanswered questions. And while I’m not a fan of him reminiscing about Lili, I can understand it to some extent. She was the person he was just in a relationship with, and he saw her not too long ago, so it’s natural he’d still feel something. But using that as motivation to jump into a relationship with Nonoka makes no sense, especially after all the growth we’ve seen from him in the last few chapters.

But It is what it is. I just see this as a quick crash and burn because the MC is once again being set up to not learn from his mistakes. That’s just my opinion.

This obviously can't go anywhere because it would wreck the whole central conceit of the theory. So it just makes it more obvious that it's just "for the drama" or as a stall tactic before he probably does something dumb like go right back to pining for Lili (and i say that as someone who actually liked Lili at the outset.) so I just can't bring myself to give a damn or even be intrigued/excited for the idea that he's actually giving a relationship a shot. Because we know damn well he's going to get into it, then screw it up and break her heart because he needs to go back to the unhealthy obsession that he was trying to get away from in the first place. And honestly I'm not sure I could get behind any of the other sharemates either because almost all of them have some aspect that I dislike.

I think I'm done and am tapping out.

I just feel bad for Nonoka because I like her more than any if the sharemates (except maybe Yakuri but that's simply because she feels like the only adult in the room) - and Hiromi's about to exploit her kindness and fondness for him for his own character development.

Even worse that she had a relationship fall apart on her, was willing to try again with him, and he's going in half-cocked, spontaneously using her to attempt to get over someone else who's apparently just as wishy-washy as he is.

I'd be less annoyed if Hiromi showed even a semblance of growth, and not this 'two steps forward, three leaps back' thing he's got going on of late.

But I knew what we were in for when we found out he didn't even respond to the date request right away.

''This has to be a famous artist's piece'' I guess Majin Buu is pretty famous, or is that a namekian house

Also what bro needs the most is time for himself ( and therapy ) but people around him refuse to let him have it.

Sasuga never cooks. It's all premade industrialized shit with bland taste. She is so predictable that, as you can see, absolutely no one is excited about the current plot (or the plots that will follow) and everyone is waiting for the inevitable retardation the MC will display.
sasusa always cooks at the highest degrees. Domekano was peak manga and only Ruitards would disagree.

i don’t know if i’m more pissed about hiromi's feelings or lili's. like sure i somewhat understand hiromi being hung up on her but like dude you had a way more serious relationship very shortly before that, like accept that you were dumped. and then lili dumping him and then also seemingly wanting to get back together again? at this point you're just fucking with him

I’m so tired of him thinking about Lili! Plus he never seems to remember that she betrayed his feelings and dumped him, it’s only the good stuff… If he is always putting his girlfriend on pedestals he’s never going to reall know who they are or have a balanced relationship. It’s the same reason that he was cheated on by his ex…

He’s made some progress but he hasn’t broken out of his old patterns at all.

And please, someone send a truck to take Lili to another world. She just plain sucks!
