Really liked how this chapter filled out the character of Tsubasa's grandmother a bit more. She's stern, and obsessed with her dynasty, but is clearly paying more attention to Tsubasa's feelings than she thought.

I kinda assumed the "going away party" would end with at least a few of them (more likely all of them) getting drunk and something happening between at least one of them and Hiromi and Nonoka walking in on the immediate aftermath (catching him in bed with one of them, type thing).

Did not expect her ex-fiance literally creeping out of the bushes to ambush her like this. Is this a signal that she's about to get Cold Feet and not follow through with her plans to move in with Hiromi? That'd honestly be more than a little shitty, but I'm betting she still has Anju's words bouncing around in her head, and this guy is the one that she could 'mother' for in a relationship, which seems to be her thing, even if she griped about it.

I'm convinced that Hiromi and Nonoka aren't ending up together, so that's the lens I'm interpreting through. But either way it will be interesting to see how exactly it all shakes out.

......out of the seven women characters that are introduced (not counting his friend who runs the inn back home) in any significant capacity in the series, he's dated 3 of them, with one of those being Nonoka in the present. Lily was the only SharehouseMate he tried to have an actual relationship with, and that one effectively sank before it got anywhere, and it was as much Lily's fault as it was his.

Every other woman in that house who has fallen for him did it of her own volition, and he faced each of their feelings (eventually,
with varying levels of drama involved) and rejected them. But I don't really know how you can say what you did with any honesty when the whole series is right here to verify how inaccurate it is.
