I lost interest after the Athena arc (this was around when the second season was airing iirc) because it didn't go anywhere, and I still haven't read the 100 or so last chapters. I also never watched the third season, though I did watch the movie.
It used to be my favorite manga for years, but it just never picked up after the Athena arc.
After I've read that Hinagiku got completely shafted too, I've just never been able to pick it up again.
There was no topping the Athena arc. Hata did seem to lose focus after that as well and reintroducing Athena as a magically transformed loli was a really bad idea. I stopped watching the animé half way through season 1 and then when I found out how they handled Athena. . . I have had no desire to continue watching. Hinagiku was my fave from the series before Athena. Now Athena is my 3rd favorite character of all time behind only Hisui from Tsukihime and Akane from ONE.

Apparently it’s something the artist do.
My guess would be to make people see that this is an old story that happened years ago.
You guys are still on this, huh...? From chapter 1 to chapter 6 has all been in the span of the same summer. I'm like 99% sure of this. Takeru shows up in chapter 3 and that's when you learn that he likes Sou, and then in this chapter you see Nozomu remembering that night, which Takeru is still upset about. The seemingly random colors are anyone's guess at this point. It's only been 2 chapters so there's no way to figure out the rhyme or reason.

The horrible Sepia tone compounded with the absolutely minimal file size made this chapter horrible to read.
So, I put the whole thing through some magical tools over the span of 10m to make it actually look good.

Not sure if it was a choice by the translators to maintain the baby-shit filter for max faithfulness, or if they don't care enough to actually put effort in to the raws themselves. Either or, I suppose.

I meant more that this happened some time ago, and he's looking back with nostalgic glasses or something. Though the guy has a smart phone and the tv is a flat style tv, though it still could be from like a decade ago.

The color tones feel similar to the usual magazine raws (if you had physical and not digital), so I think that it's to mimic reading old magazines. I can't be sure though, but I do think there's a meaning behind the tones besides just making people buy the volumes instead of reading on comicwalker.

The tawawa guy has a gimmick of having blue tones for his work, but he's had for as long as I can remember even before he started with tawawa.

Mostly A, a little of B. I asked a friend to try upscaling the raws but I was pretty unhappy with how they turned out. Truth be told I think yours looks a little over-sharpened as well. The color was kept for faithfulness.

6 chapters and the series is already in danger of losing its focus. Last chapter was a flashback and now we're back to after chapter 4. Last chapter had multiple "lucky pervert" moments and this chapter was slice-of-life with almost no development between Nozomu and Sou. I feel this chapter, like the last chapter, is also straying from what made the first 4 chapters enjoyable only in the complete opposite direction this time. I DID like chapters 5 and 6, I just don't feel like they're keeping with the tone and style of the first 4 chapters. There's a bit of a disconnect here. Hoping next chapter gets back on track.
Yeah I wonder if the author is inexperienced, small pacing mistakes from the beginning. Tsk.

Author's first serialization, I believe. If the pacing issues were small I wouldn't have said anything. It's pretty significant. Especially for being just 2 chapters in. The editors should have pulled them aside before serialization and said to do a reboot and fill in the time gaps between chapters to stretch the series (and the innuendos) out. I get the feeling that the issue may be that they just quickly ran out of ideas and now they have to come up with new chapters on a regular basis and are struggling to come up with new material under strict time constraints. Something that a reboot would have greatly helped to alleviate.

Figured, yeah. Much prefer actually being able to see what I'm looking at that though, as opposed to squinting to make out details.
As for the sharpening, pretty much impossible to get good results from such low quality raws, definitely agree on that.

... isn't bless your heart actually an insult?
I'm not too good at southern accents and sayings, but I thought it was kind of condescending.
As someone who has lived in the south their entire life is, it can go either way depending on situation, context and tone.

No, I think you're right about that. My bad. I'm a yankee and don't have much southern exposure. :p
I've changed the line.
Just FYI, but it's only an insult when it's insincere, so if it's meant sarcastically or to ridicule. Here's the very short wiki page and the wiktionary entry.
