fun fact: the expected rate of birth defects in the children of first cousins isn't really any higher than that for couples not as closely related.
In a study on several cousinfuckers, 70% of the children were found with to have mental development issues (they were retarded).

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3904202/

I’m all down for reading these manga and ero doujins, they are harmless. But all of these inane comments saying that irl anti-cousin stems for religion or some type of ignorance, is in itself fucking ignorant. You shouldn’t inbreed because it makes your kids at risk for genetic disorders and deformities. As one fellow above said, touch some grass.

Hey, this is not a bad deal no?

They don't even have to go through the hassle of changing thier surename since it's already the same!

Why is it in black and white? :shamihuh:
Cause yer eyes are broke. It's a shade of dark blue.
Getting back on track, I found Ema's dialogue a little too direct, openly asking Sou if she's in love with Nozomu. I'm not sure but I would bet the original text's phrasing is far more ambiguous, especially considering the nonchalant way Sou replies at first.

You would be wrong. Ema opens with "Ano Onii-san no koto itsu suki nnatta to?". She also later says "renaiteki". She's very clearly talking about romantic love. It also explains why she's so upset about Sou saying her feelings for Nozomu are the same as Ema and Kouki's sibling love.

Internet never fails to reiterate the same points over and over again until the horse has decomposed. Manga is already 16 chapters in with the very premise based on cousins falling in love and people still somehow have the need to let their objections be heard as if their culture and opinion is the only correct one to inject in this fictional Japanese work. Bonus points for insulting people's religious beliefs along the way--wouldn't be the internet without that.
All topics about manga have already been beaten into oblivion years ago, age gap, incest and loli / shota are some examples of that, and yet again and again out of the woods come the whiners to start drama about it, every single fucking time, even though they never win those discussions.

Which makes me wonder, I used to think they're just self righteous assholes who need to show their "moral superioty", but nowadays I'm starting to think that maybe the lady protest too much, they actually really like what they see, probably even in real life too, that's why they need to announce to everyone how they hate it, so nobody suspects them, after all  why would you willingly read a manga full of things you dislike? much less announce to the whole world how you hate it? Logic dictates you wouldn't read them to begin with if you dislike it so much.

Huh. I would've thought she had some awareness. But gotta love the meddling friend who's already there and wakes her up.

"StOp PrOjEcTiNg JuSt CoNsUmE" - this is how you sound in my head.

Manga is prone to portraying incest, minors in sexual relationships and overdrawn lazy tropes (festivals, onsen trips, etc.). Whether that's a problem or not should be up to viewers and consumers to decide. But, you know, to decide anything people NEED to converse and exchange opinions.

This whole argument that you can't and shouldn't have an influence because you're not from Japan is just so stupid, especially because:
1. Going by that logic Sonic movie should've stuck to old Sonic's design. After all majority of people voicing their opinion back then wasn't going to watch the movie anyways
2. Manga isn't consumed by Japan alone and giant f-ing animes like Naruto, Dragonball and One Piece are the best proof of that. What, I can't say gear 5 in One Piece is bs because I'm not japanese? Piss. Off.

There you go again. You see, that's why your first response was so shit in the first place. I stated my opinion and provided reasoning and examples. Then you disagreed and insulted what I said without explaining anything whatsoever.

You're not even doing the bare minimum to disprove anything, only coming in and behaving like you know it all. If you disagree with me say why, if I (apparently) contradict myself then state where and when. I'm not a mind reader, can't know what's inside a deranged man's head even if I try.

For now you make yourself look like a clown. A mildly amused one apparently.
