we really don't give a damn about what some actors there do

+1 from somebody who is living in Europe.

And that's actually what I noticed about americans, most of them think that if something true for US - that's true for world around as well. But most ppl around world doesn't care what happened in US and who's done and said what.
And if we're talking about public persona, some local actor that in US even wont be considered 3rd-rate actor and at best 4th-rate actor - this actor locally in his hometown/country would have more influence by his words rather some far away US celebrity that local people never seen in person and known only by respective roles in movies.

oh sure there are, but i mean generally, the general opinion is that most of them have really bad attitudes, i know there's probably a lot of good ones too but given their profession, the profession itself is pretty much seen in a bad light
