Story started off some what interesting but has lost all realism and is just plain dumb at this point. The second he was rejected on approach but the entourage he should have just left it at that and walked away for good like a real human... she has "cheated" and dumped you, why on any earth would some one even want to speak with her at this point? What's to gain, closure on the original game she played... shit is over the line in the first place enough to get bounced outta his life, so anything past that is just dumb

Mc never would have let himself do this s**t again because this is EXACTLY what he did before and yes the Ex is still as POS....she's kind of worse here.

Last thing....it wasn't a month it was a FULL YEAR! a Full year of her talking sh*t about him to her friends and at this point its been a month since he has changed and he's been saying F off to her since. (she also been saying "your improvements are thanks to me btw so YOUR WELCOME!")

It's not that he wants to make up so much as he needs closure to move forward. The whole situation felt off to him even at the time, and he hasn't been able to make any more sense of it since.

12 chapters out of the total 16. It's based on an apparently on-going light novel so it's either just going to be a complete drop in 4 chapters or a rushed manga-only conclusion.

This is the part I don't get the most. he also wants to "immediately apologize" in this chapter too.
Come on man, out of all the situations in the relationship, the one thing that should never happened is for the party who was cheated on to apologize. It's not even about confidence, purely based on common sense and righteous indignation.
This kind of mentality is what really dampens my enthusiasm for a lot of manga recently. Just make characters who have a bare minimum of self-respect - just enough to treat themselves as human beings at least.
