Well that was dumb remark,
That guy can't be burnt meaning his clothes wouldn't get damaged
Cant be drowned so his clothes won't stay wet and soggy

He doesn't even sweats, or smells, I think he do eats and shit from time to time but if you can see his master who trained 1000 years which also didn't change clothes you would understand that was given to him by his master after his old clothes torn apart, it applied to him aswell,

Be sage, get sage outfit which (maybe too) indestructible

If you read the light novel, it mentions that he replaces his clothes regularly. It's just that he only knows how to make rope sandals and a simple robe.

Also, when he takes service with Dewey, she replaces his clothes with identical ones... just well made using the best cloth. Oh, and he doesn't eat or drink, but subsists on sunlight and dew, kinda like a plant. :)

So, the manga didn't spend any time on it, but the author explicitly talks about it.

Whelp time to drop this for a few months.
As it is now its going downhill very fast... Sansui is just like a dead fish, not funny, or even remotely interesting, while everyone else is like a main character.
Story is aimless with so far trivial boring ideas. Side/minor characters are forced to make appearance.
I mean who gives a fuck about that Alladin guy and the rest of the trope... The author can't even build a decent solid MC with a solid plot ffs...
This is 6.5/10 for sure if not less.

my brain has evolved and expanded too much to enjoy simple slice of life like this with no plot

there is isekai trash and there is this. Probably one of the most boring isekai to ever exist: bland characters, setting and plot. At least cheesy isekai trash can be so bad it's good, this is just plain boring.

Started kinda fun and unique, but then I started droning everything out once the background politics and useless tropes got added

I checked this out wondering why this is one of the top viewed manga, and was disappointed.

This manga tried to be unique. It isn't a harem, the MC isn't some really kind dude that gets all the chicks, but it's extremely boring as well.

First of all, if you became a sage, it's true that earning money and finding a job would be good, but why would you just let yourself be the servant of a rich girl for five years when your wish from the start was to become the strongest person?

The MC wished to be the strongest person, so his desire should not be working under a spoiled princess all his life, but to test out his strength and compete in tournaments or something.

He should have quit after earning money. Why the hell did he stay a servant when he wished to become the strongest person?

Secondly, the romance between MC and Brauer wasn't developed at all. The writer was just like 'Brauer fell for him because reasons' and they agreed to marry so quick without any romantic developments.

Brauer still looked and dressed like a dude as well, mainly probably to serve under the family, but there's never a moment where she's shown to actually be a girl.

Sometimes, it feels like she's actually a dude.

Third, they introduced them going to the academy, but afterwards, never showed chapters of them being in the academy. Most of the chapters were spent talking about the side character which was the stereotypical isekai MC.

The characters are so bland and flat. There are no eccentric personalities except for the overprotectiveness of the father and the brother.

The one enemy shown is a stereotypical isekai enemy: the perverted, greedy noble that looks and acts evil upfront

There's a comedy tag, but I never laughed once. There's a fantasy tag, but the explanations about the fantastical stuff was pointless because the magic the enemy used didn't matter, MC is OP.

The writer obviously wrote this just to kind of stray away from the stereotypical isekai stuff.

He didn't write harem, instead wrote a side character stereotypical MC with a harem and made the MC beat him.

One of the beautiful girls that the MC encountered didn't fall for him, and instead fell for another guy.

I get what he's going for, but the problem is how it's one of the least fleshed out manga out there. There's no end goal, just arcs that are thrown out randomly.

Now, why the hell is this one of the top viewed manga?

Stopped at ch. 33, probably the only good chapter for like 10 or more chapters. Story is going the boring political route, MC hasn’t made any progress and is only focusing on the other ‘trump card’ or whatever you call them. Absolutely bland and shit, I too, don’t know how this got so many views. 2/10, I’d rather wait for a minced meat to rot to the point of maggots eating it than to read this. There’s many other good mangas to read so I recommend not to waste your time on this.

This arc is turning out weird. It seemed like the guy from the other country was on the hunt for royal blood, aiming at the MC's daughter next. Makes him having all those living swords or whatever kinda a waste as he had potential to be the villain.

Why the heroine is not the lady?

I think this is not interesting again when there are no possibilities between the two.

The lady is much more interesting than the butler.

I wonder how we went from the old-school, monthly manga that actually released at least 40 pages everytime a new chapter came out to this state where they take a month to give us 17 pages of zero progression. I mean, it sounds disrespectful, but even Shokugeki no Souma gave us 20 pages a week with all the porn art.

As for this story, it suffers from the same old Japanese male syndrome, so it's already impossible to diss it any further. Now we simply follow through and get disappointed again and again, it certaily helps our weeb depression a lot, guys.

And before you get me started on the absolutely embarrassing """romance""" between [spoilers but not really] and [spoilers but not really], please don't. I'd rather go read Twilight saga while listening to Friday by Rebecca than read this so-called """romance""" thing in this manga.

@nymphriel you won't get any arguments here. Most people who post here at least have all recognized this series is like the slowest, least impactful isekai ever written. It's hard to even call it a story.

I dunno about you guys but I get 3 times the entertainment every time the new chapters post.
1.) I get to see the author's brain hemorrhage develop in real time as he shits out undeveloped plots that in stunning fashion manage to be even more inconsequential with each new arc.
2.) I get to watch a new wave of commenters roll up in disgust and rant themselves into an early grave as they experience the 5 stages of mourning over and over again with each new chapter.
3.) I get to watch the same tired desperate misdirection of people trying to defend this train wreck by an assortment of hilariously irrelevant tactics ranging from "If you hate it so much why are you here", to "Didn't you read the title? Being a bad story is the point of the story!"

Honestly, I didn't know that brain hemorrhages could be contagious until I saw the guys in 2.) and 3.) so whatever this manga is supposed to be is entirely irrelevant. The experience I come here for is now these 3 things, so we've gone full circle and I actually look forward to this shit.
