I'm glad his mom really cares about him. It could've went either way upon meeting his "bullies" and I think it still would've made the story more fun.

I think the mom was going to put a little pressure, but then the girl collapsed so fast. It’s evident being mean would go nowhere since she was already ashamed of her behavior (although it wasn’t too bad it seems lol).
