Here I thought the teachers were going out of their way to do their job. Turns out they're only doing it because his father was an important figure. I should have known better

Tbh this manga is becoming a 2/10 real quick. We started off with a great revenge story and we got basically everything hand-fed to the MC by every character possible. The guy that was supposed to be the villain became a worthless retard in barely 11 chapters.
Pretty sure that's the premise from the start? It doesn't read like underdog-revenge fic, more like a feel-good manga where everyone is on the side of the good.

I got fed up on waiting and went to read the novel.
It's not good lol
WIth light spoilers, with you dont care about weak plots and see everything scalate to the point of reaching the first minister of Japan, keeo the read. But to me, that became the most garbage illusionist story I've read.
Good read if you stay and I invite those curious enough to read the novel as well and have a laugh.

The guy who believes he's the king is suddenly make to realize the world is a much bigger place and there is always someone better, but he's too arrogant to learn the lesson. I hope this is only the beginning of the downfall for him.
The mom is great, and I'm looking forward to see the former mayor in action.

The former Mayor is already involved, looking forward to the chapter where the Japanese PM and the UN Secretary General both publically denounce this kid
To paraphrase a post I had a few chapters back:
I'm waiting for the final chapter where the head of the galactic federation mobilizes their fleet of starships to warp in ready to assist.

Time for mom to show the real power of adults: Connections!
Yep, can't WAIT for the WORSE ONE to go for Miyuki specifically, namely Miyuki was stupid to have never considered or thought
ABOUT HER FUCKING MOTHER, Ms. Amada and Ms. Aono are FRIENDS, they were close ever since they met 10 years ago and Ms. Aono has been the major reason along with Eiji things got BETTER for them after that, that Ms. Amada sees the Aono's as their Benefactors.

Ms. Aono did at least give Miyuki the chance to confess to her mother and tell her the truth, but Miyuki is Miyuki

Also Ms. Aono was BEING NICE, she's not happy once she finds out about the Bullying and Slander against Eiji, even though that was Kondo, and yes she WILL go after him for his actions against her son as Eiji is a Minor, meaning she can file a report and lawsuit on his behalf. But it's when she sees the STREAMER's Stream of what happened back in Chapter 1 that she actually HATES herself of now and previously for "holding back on Miyuki" as she sees the FULL EXTENT of her betrayel and part in what Eiji had to go through. Finding out about the Bullying at school was one thing. But learning all this came about because Miyuki couldn't keep her legs closed for anyone but her son, and lets be real, Kondo NEVER would have had anything to do with Eiji if he had done exactly that! Yeah Ms. Aono is DONE being nice to that girl.

I understand how she and Eiji feel about Miyuki, was betrayed myself by a long time friend. The reasoning was so stupid on his end, but that's what made it sad was "I thought we were friends" he said it straight up, "No I wasn't" though I did ask the question of "if I wasn't then why did you let me talk to you for years, why did you never tell me NO when I wanted to come over to your house, or when I invited you over to mine, or to my birthday parties at Chuck E Cheese and such! The betrayel was dumb because he was trying to befriend BULLIES of mine and was asked to set me up, which failed miserably because he was CAUGHT in the process by my OWN mother who was basically "MS. Aono on STEROIDS" when it comes to me or my younger siblings. She is a peaceful woman, but she's like that BIG DOG that would rip you to shreds if you provoked it! As long as you leave it alone, it will leave you alone, it will even do nice things for you out of empathy. But provoke it once by "I don't know KICKING IT for no good reason" and it won't stand there confused on WHY you did that....it will fucking rip your leg to shreds, and HEAVEN HELP YOU if you look at it's pups the wrong way! People KNOW beforehand about that of her, yet STILL they take their chance. It's sad so many did this including "befriending her before the backstab" that while she is still willing to be KIND to the point I worry for her being taken advantage of, she is QUICK to realize when someone is fucking with her and VERY quick to "Stab before you get a chance to do the stabbing" And me, use to be the same, now I'm more JADED with my kindness, and REAL QUICK to notice Red Flags. You won't BELIEVE how many ASSHOLES had the NERVE to call me FAKE for catching them in their deceptive behavior before they got the chance to betray me and had the NERVE to act like I was in the wrong for DEFENDING myself by acting first! I'm still a GOOD KIND PERSON, I refuse to allow ASSWIPES to declare whatever I am or not! They have not the right of it!

Reminds me (the Benefactor part) of a Manga I ready WAY back about a Martial Artist training a Elf Princess in Martial Arts and specifically "how to fight dirty" where the MC past was that he was betrayed by his former party, made up of a Hero, and two girls connected to him, his childhood friend, a Female Swordsman and a Female Mage he was raising like a little sister! The two having betrayed him because they fell for the Hero guy! Suffice to say the Childhood friend, it was discovered later when she met her mother again that MC had been looking out for their family for years, having told the mother to keep it a secret from her, she even discovers that if not for that, she would have been forced to sell her when she was a baby into slavery, even her "Sword Teacher" as her mother pointed out would NEVER have considered some poor Commoner girl as worth teaching if not for MC paying him to do so, meaning all her bluster about her talent, never realizing MC was the reason for it....the MC she betrayed for some Guy! Suffice to say when her mother finds out why she hasn't contacted her and her little sister in years, majorly because she was locked up in Prison for a different matter unrelated to MC, but the MAJOR one the mother focuses on because she tried to KILL MC, she doesn't take it well, angerly disowning her and never wanting to see her again, even wishing she HAD sold her into Slavery when she was a baby if THIS was how she "rewarded" someone that helped them and SAVED HER from such a fate back then (turns out to her horror, MC even resentful for the betrayal rightfully NEVER told the mother the truth, she only finds out because SHE TELLS HER out of guilt once she discovered just HOW MUCH MC helped her out! Yeah she betrayed him, but only because she hated his "dishonorable" pragmatic conduct and had a crush on the Hero Guy that she never felt guilty doing what she did to MC, finding out

Wait till you see his dad, he's coming up, but you'll see HOW the POS got that mindset in the first place

You know what, I had some sympathy for Miyuki, had.

She's a naive young woman and Kondo is superficially attractive, so her falling for him and betraying Eiji is understandable (understandable, not justified).
And even the following bullying, maybe she doesn't fully grasp the extent of it.
Still a massive blunder, but I could see things mending over time.

But after all that, after she realizes all that she lost and all of the suffering caused, she still decides to stay as the perpetrator's plaything?
WTF, he's the reason you're in this mess in the first place.
You know what, they deserve each other and everything coming their way.

This isn't an "MC goes on revenge tour", so if that's what you want, it's not for you.

This is more of "what people should do in reality" story... and it's quite good at that.

Revenge Tours are fun, but they're not reality. Good to see a manga/story have people doing the right thing in a more realistic way.

She wanted the bad boy, she got the bad boy. She wants to get out, but she's not willing to pay the price (which would be VERY high) to get out. (Price to get out: Publicly admit that she cheated on Eiji, then lied about it thus wrecking him, moreover Kondo would probably release some damning naked/sex videos of her. Her reputation would go from the top of the class to below the gutter and down into the sewer. And in Japan where face is everything... absolute social death.)

One Caveat for Miyuki: In a a year of "dating" Eiji never kissed her once. Not really surprising that she got interest in a guy who would actually show her some affection. (Why? Author is probably saving MCs pure first kiss for his new true love.)

Later on in the story, it is indirectly theorized by Ai and even Eiji himself that he and Miyuki never really loved each other romantically in that way. If you read the Light Novel/Web Novel, you see that Eiji is actually a pretty proactive guy when it comes to Ai before and after they start dating. You get a sense that the romantic bond between Eiji and Miyuki was never really there unlike with Eiji and Ai.

Miyuki is an extremely flawed person who got swept up in kondo’s charm and her desire for a father figure when her dad left. she honestly is the only one out of the perpetrators that understands the gravity of her decisions throughout the saga and is ultimately tortured the most mentally over it.

I get uncomfortable with the way some commenters talk about Miyuki in these threads. I have the benefit of seeing how the story plays out for Miyuki and I have some sympathy for her in the end. She fucked up, the author punishes her severely for it. It’s a very tough thing to read when you get to see how much she regrets letting Eiji go and hurting him like that.

Oh boy, as someone who is caught up with the web novel… this really is only the start of some insane stuff.

High School Cheating/Bullying incident -> downfall of the Japanese prime minister

I was about to comment "Now even the former mayor gets involved, what's next? The prefect? The head of the Diet? The damn Prime Minister?" but it looks like the author was way ahead of the curve on that.

I despise Miyuki because she was cheating for a long time instead of being open to Eiji about it (remember, Eiji caught them during summer break and Kondo advanced on her way before that since their first kiss shows them wearing school uniform), if she wanted to have someone shallow as Kondo by her side at least break up with Eiji first and spare the guy from all the needless suffering but no, she doubles down on it.
