Eri
still continues a dangerous person herself and another people because she doesn't thinks about her future. She still really wants to "fix" her pasts mistakes: "To die with Kondo together", because he destroyed her life (Eri POV).
Just for curiosity's sake, do Eri and Otaku-kun ever meet up and talk? Let Eri try to forgive him?

Eri
still continues a dangerous person herself and another people because she doesn't thinks about her future. She still really wants to "fix" her pasts mistakes: "To die with Kondo together", because he destroyed her life (Eri POV).

But Miyuki,

since Ai intervention, now is trying to think how to make amends with herself first, because guilt still consume her. She doesnt know how to make this because she still belives will be a hypocrite if try to change herself (like the intervention in Ritsu "date"). Yes, she is consciencious that is too late to think about this, and like the "suicide route" was denied for her, only in this moment she can think about her past mistakes and how to move forward.

Miyuki makes remember Shouya, from Silent Voice/Koi no Katachi, he never really thought about Shouko, but when he sufferring all the bullying from old classmates, he finally could think about own beheaviour, and try to make amends with Shouko, even he already knowing is very hypocrysy from him.
So, I understand what you're saying, but this comes down to how I interpret Miyuki as a character. She only started trying to make things right once she lost the ability to keep acting the way she had before. It seems to me that it was the circumstances that pushed her into it, rather than any real self-awareness on her part. If she hadn't been found out and exposed, would she have ever felt this way? I don't know, but I'm inclined to think she wouldn't.

Eri being pathetic and a worse person than Miyuki doesn't really change much for me. Besides, I think Miyuki's actions were even worse than Eri's. My problem with Miyuki is simply when she decided she needed to do something about her mistakes. For me, it was too late for me to genuinely believe in her remorse. Even if her change is real, she's still someone who can no longer be trusted, and that's something she'll have to carry with her for the rest of her life.

Yeah it's why I said I feel A LITTLE for her! But as said
She only did so AFTER everything blew up on her and she had to be DRAGGED INTO THE LIGHT for this to start happening. I expect a spin-off on her to MAYBE add to her atonement, keep life now for her HARD but showing how she HAS remorse and is trying to do better, maybe a slip up or two into "Self-loathing" before correcting herself! But as the Novel is as big as it is and NEEDS TO END SOON! I feel that is the only way to focus on her growing instead of constant "woe is me" with her!

But yeah reminder, even AFTER Kondo dumped her and she found out he meant NOTHING to her and finally having to acknowledge SHE WAS A CHEATER, she still never told the truth till the Second Interview with the teacher and by that point it was when she was already DOOMED as he said at the end of the first one, she squandered her only chance, and she didn't do it for Kondo, she did it to save HERSELF! At least she acknowledges her selfishness

And yeah her Daddy Issues ESPECIALLY since she KNOWS her father is a garbage human being who abandoned them both isnt' an excuse, it's just there so she can TRY to justify her own crummy actions to herself! In the end unless she fully acknowledges what she did, what she TRULY was capable of doing to Eiji (namely the leaving him to the lies Ritsu and Kondo labeled him as and the fact she was READY to hide what she was doing to him till she was caught) she will never really be ATONING! You can see the budding of it, but it takes a LONG WHILE and there ARE bumps on the way to it!
Is there an ending point to the light novel, like a final chapter? I mean, as much as I like the story, how much longer can this LN(?) keep on going?

The fact that Miyuki only started trying to atone for her actions when she had no other choice is exactly why I don't believe her remorse is genuine. In my opinion, Miyuki is a terrible person, and she still hasn't changed. She had plenty of opportunities to make things right, but she did nothing. It was only after she lost everything that she started trying to redeem herself. But that doesn't change the fact that I can't help thinking she only did so because her situation and everything she had done were completely exposed. This makes it seem like Miyuki isn't sorry for what she did, but rather that she got caught.

Having daddy issues doesn't seem like a good enough reason to justify her actions. She chose to cheat on her boyfriend and pretend everything was fine, all while lying to herself. Even after everything that happened because of her affair, she continued to be Kondo's lapdog until he made it clear that he saw her as disposable. She used the affair as a way to escape the reality she herself had created, refusing to face it until she had no choice. So, no matter what she does to redeem herself now, it's unlikely to come across as genuine remorse rather than an attempt to ease her own pain.

Honestly, assuming Eiji didn't know about Miyuki's cheating, I think she would have continued dating him as if nothing had happened even after Kondo discarded her.

If the author wanted me to believe that Miyuki is a good person, or that she could become one, he should have had her start trying to make things right before her life completely fell apart.
Oh, just remember. She thought it was okay to lie about Eiji and go along with all of this because "it would go away once they graduate and they'd marry later anyway". She had zero remorse whatsoever.

But seriously, I don't believe so! Which is why it's hard to remember details, there's too much SHIT and the writer is BLOATING his story

I KNOW the Manga is going to end before it gets to the REST of the stuff, but seriously it should have BEGAN AND ENDED with
The Downfall of Tachibana and Kondo (and Kondo Sr. and the Soccer Club and Ritsu) that's it, this novel is a bloated MESS I swear!

Agreed.

Selfishness is a pretty good way to sum up her character. By choosing Kondo over Eiji, she was confident she could still get Eiji back, but she knew that if she rejected Kondo, she'd lose him for good. She wanted to have both of them purely out of selfishness, without thinking about the consequences of her own actions. And she continued acting that way because so much of what she did was about protecting herself. Her world was falling apart, and Kondo was the only one who gave her any sense of "comfort" so she did everything she could to hold on to that.

Even if she changes and genuinely becomes a good person, I think it'll still be hard to truly trust her.

Since I'm a sucker for this type of stuff, what happen to Eri? Okatu-kun's childhood friend? Also, apologies if you already asks this before
About Eri:

Eri returns to the story when Ai and Endo realize (each in their own way) that the same pattern is repeated in what happened to Endo and Eri, since both cases involve Kondo and Tachibana (though the last one is still just speculation).

Ai’s servant approaches Eri, promising to arrange a meeting between her and Kondo (who is already in custody) if she answers a few questions for him. Then, Kuroi (and Ai) confirm Tachibana’s possible involvement. Eri talks to Tachibana, suspecting that Tachibana might have a relationship with Kondo—a suspicion she confirmed during her conversation with Kondo at the police station a short time later. And at the police station, she says to Kondo: “Hey, Kondo-kun. I lost everything, too. And so did you. So… please, die with me?”

Later, Eri goes to Miyuki’s house, where she tells Miyuki that they aren’t the same because Miyuki did something even worse. Then, Eri calls Tachibana, saying she’s “thinking about telling the teachers that Tachibana and Kondo were also involved in the case involving Eri and Endo.”

As a result, Tachibana panics and hastily devises a plan to silence Eri by inciting members of the soccer and literature clubs (and throwing the members in the trash at the same time), but Ai and Kuroi—who have been monitoring every move—prevent what would have been a tragedy, and everyone is arrested.

At the police station, Eri receives a visit from Yumi after a long time, and even though she had promised herself she would never speak to Eri again, Yumi says, “You tried to die alone, didn’t you?” and “We won’t let you die here. We’ll never let you escape your responsibilities by dying here.”

It's why I hate too many chapters if there's barely a reason for them! Want to add extra lore, leave that to a side story if it's majorly irrelevent to the main plot at hand

I assume it will be around Kondo's end, I've yet to see Hints of Tachibana anywhere, but really if the Manga is smart, it axes alot of stuff and focuses on just getting to Kondo and Tachibana's end, all that extra shit involving Ai's Dad and Political Parties and the FUCKING JAPANESE PM was unneeded

But yeah long stories like these usually get Axed early, the classic "go read the Novel" I hate when this happens to story's that WEREN'T long like "Slow Prison Life" Like seriously that story wasn't long, how did it warrant THREE CHAPTERS of Manga that only got to the 20% marker of the story!!!

And that's a FACT ;)

But yeah
Even if you take out Tachibana and the fact Kondo was ALWAYS going to "pull the rug out from under her!" I mean Eiji's ruination was complete, Tachibana had no more reason to give a shit about Miyuki since she "played her part well" like the unwitting fool she was! And Kondo would get bored eventually!

Miyuki is lucky unlike Eri, she got the rugged pulled SOONER starting now and everything going down hill! Knowing Eri DOUBLE DOWN and sacrificed her future for the sake of revenge against Kondo after she's made aware of Miyuki! You can see THAT was her future had this continued. Miyuki was doomed, but in this regard she still has a chance

And once you do what she did, even IF you redeem yourself, no one is really every going to 100% trust you. In her case her MOTHER even IF things get better between them after this, she will NEVER 100% trust her daughter again, and miyuki knows that her own fault just to make it so much worse for her!

But it wouldn't be atonement if it 100% did "time warp" back to 100% trust now would it! Miyuki only ADDED to the suffering of her long life!

If us can't really trusting her again, imagine about Eiji, Mei - his mother), or even her mother?. But this is a reality that Miyuki will to lead from now on.

About relationship about a mother and her daugther - a bully, I like the dynamic between Yoneda-san and Yumi in "Is It My Fault That I Got Bullied?" manga about severe bullying.

  • Miyuki got a six month suspension from school and will be repeat a year and still thinking how to atone her sins with help from Takayanagi-sensei
  • Eiji and Ai have sex (probably)
  • Ai's father got his revenge from former prime-minister (because wife tragedy) but probably will leave the politics career because a serious heart disease
  • Tachibana still in custody waiting a new judgement as adult and expelled from school
  • Endo begin a relationship with Yumi, a old friend from middle school and Eri ex-best friend

I can't remember from the earlier comments, but does Otaku-kun have a happy ending in the LN, like a new girlfriend?

The thing is, we learn that the mother knows the former mayor only much later, after the whole faculty rallies behind him, with no one even mentioning something like "yeah, this one's family is connected, it would be bad for us unless we do something". It's made to seem like everyone wants to help for purely altruistic reasons or professional pride. So unless you assume that they are all acting, there's no indication of this.

Nah teachers jumped on the case pretty quickly. (Chapter 4) Even before MC's mother made the calls. The principal (who we later learn knows MC's mom from the neighborhood association) got involved. Hence, they already know the MC and have been looking out for him behind the scenes.
It is also heavily implied those higher up in the school system knew MC's deceased father and owed him a great deal. Oh the son of a man I owe lot too is in trouble. Yeah you drop whatever you were doing and throw hands with whoever is fucking with him.

Also, if you know anything about your average Japanese school teachers and bullied kids. Yeah they don't go rallying like that for random bullied student 69. You think those teachers would have done the same for that cucked Otaku kid. Maybe telling that class bullying is m'kay now open your books to page 420 of effort.

That kind of teacher rallying against bullying only happens after the suicide and its mostly done to cover their asses/dealing with bad press.

Probably, though my point was that this particular kid seemingly has all the people in the world to fall back on: a family that will move mountains, a school faculty that seem to spend more time investigating only on his behalf than teaching, a friend that drops everything and comes running to help, even random strangers willing to risk their ass for him just because they were in his position in the past. Given all that, this guy still talked about having no one and planned to off himself. What a dumb kid...

The MC had way more support behind the scenes then he knows. Even his mother knew something was wrong but held off the calls because she wanted her son to come to her first.

The difference between the MC and Kondo. Kondo knows he has daddy backing him and uses it to throw his weight around. MC also has quite the backing but thinks he is alone.

It's why I get your points, but I'm wondering if your taking the perception of the Writer of the story/Manga into account though
I've no idea. I'm not Japanese and all I know about their culture is second-hand. What I can tell you is that there's a lot of assumptions made by the characters that are silly from the perspective of someone older. Like Miyuki's "there's no going back from this!", yes there is. Even if what she did becomes public knowledge among other students, she's not going to live the rest of her life among them and there's plenty of life in front of her if she can stop being destructive both to herself and others. The same goes for Kondo. In general, the idea of having a raging duchebag's life permanently ruined, like the teacher suggests with his "road to hell" speech might be satisfying revenge porn, but it's fundamentally incompatible with how society is supposed to work. Punishing someone, especially a kid is supposed to educate and re-socialize, otherwise there'd be no reason to let anyone who wronged other people live. It's the reason even Japan has people's criminal records vanish after several years of no run-ins with the law.

They only get into legal trouble LATER ON once the TEacher and Ms. Aono find the evidence of what happened back in Chapter 1, SPOILERS for that, turns out a Foodie Streamer was streaming nearby and caught it all on stream, MAJORLY it showing Kondo lied and Miyuki lied, about touching Eiji and "Kondo grabbing Miyuki" and this is enough for Ms. Aono to file a report on them both, namely finding out about the bullying at school from Eiji and the Teacher means Ms. Aono is suing BOTH OF THEM!

This leads to Kondo's ARREST because the cops, following up, go to speak to him, and Kondo still being a coward after what he does next chapter in the manga, he RUNS upon seeing them! But as this is at school, getting ARRESTED for resisting as he DOES get violent running away WHEN HE DIDN'T HAVE TO starts to destroy the narritive around "Eiji Villain, Kondo Hero" as "why was Kondo taken away by the police" ESPECIALLY adding the school wanting to help Eiji, use something he did to give him a reward ceremony which Kondo gets arrested when this happens, meaning the WHOLE SCHOOL WITNESS THIS! This is the point where things go downhill, especially when Miyuki outs herself in class in fear that she's finally been caught, ALSO without needing to do that!

It's this that leads to Kondo's Juvie, but it's actions against ERI when she pipes up that leads to Tachibana's ADULT IMPRISONMENT because of that REMORSE thing I mentioned outside the spoilers! Tachibana's actions show a COMPLETE lack of remorse next to MAJOR PLANNING! Unlike that idiot Kondo, her own plans and "backups that fail" assure she is tried as an adult! But only those two get LEGAL action against them involving police and arrest! Miyuki only has the Slander that leads to getting Sued, but this is WHERE her Character Development and Atonement kick in! The soccer Club, some of their members attack her friend Ritsu, so their going to Juvie, likely where Kondo is going and they hate him equally! This is because their beeing expelled for the aiding with the bully and slandering, they went after Ritsu blaming her along with Kondo even though its more their fault for siding with Kondo blindly! But yeah that is all to let you know
Frankly, from a IRL perspective, getting juvie for battery with minor injuries and resisting arrest as a minor sounds absolutely unbelievable, even if you ignore the politician father. It's gounds for wardship and once the whole sordid story reaches the court, mandatory sessions with mental health specialists, but no way would he get juvie, especially as a first offence. Maybe if many witnesses came forward and testified that he basically lead a gang that harrased and victimized many of the students over time... But that would be very much stretching the truth, since he wouldn't have his "good boy" reputation if that were the case. This would also be the point at which the school would be asked "what the hell were you doing, letting such a racket run for so long then?".

To be fair to Eiji thinking he was alone, after what Miyuki did, the impact of abandonment twice and worse, Satoshi no where around (and feel bad for the guy as last he saw, the two were together and happy, he will NOT be pleased once he gets back and finds out what Miyuki did!) Eiji kept it all to himself! Ms. Aono STILL doesn't have the whole story and can only do so much!

But in the end, Eiji doesn't have to do much! Kondo learns the hard way that his father is NOT a super Elite like he convinced him he was as the man ruins himself trying to cover this all up! As the family lawyer informs Kondo by the end for him
He now has to live life AS a nobody, NO BIG CEO/POLITICON daddy to save him, nothing but what he has to TRULY EARN himself. But it's clear he isn't going to learn a damn thing and only get worse despite life constantly punishing him now! But then who the fuck cares, after all he's done and continues to do without remorse, he earns every ONE of those

But we clearly see MORE a difference between Eiji and Kondo! In the end Kondo is only a SOMEBODY because of his flaunting, and in the end that flaunting only assured he lost everything (And with a Justice System that encourages REMORSE which he can't even fester because well he's FUCKING KONDO! He's learning the hard way that "life on easy mode" is GONE FOR HIM, and all because he didn't know to QUIT while he was ahead. Eri was enough, but he just refused to learn! Eiji on the other hand has TONS of relationships for a "nobody" just being himself. Ai really was the factor for him.

The cherry on top is Eiji barely does anything.....and Kondo suffers HUGE, nothing like that ever happens to Kondo and by the end, he has ZERO FRIENDS much less Minions as we know "the loser has no friends" as he thought he never needed them. I'm sure in Juvie and after he's going to "WISH HE HAD ONE"

Also Endou was never bullied just to let you know! Only Kondo harassed him, and Eri only once to make it CLEAR that Kondo wasn't kidding about her betrayel! As we learn later, turns out Eri became the hated one, NOT Endou! And again THAT WAS A DIFFERENT SCHOOL! So that has nothing to do with the teachers and staff of the school the story takes place in!

Look I am all for people getting theirs but isn't hers like excessive on a comical level or something? Thought it went that
Her mom disowns her, she is kicked out of school, she is black listed from any and all work, everyone in like, Japan hates her from higher up connections and when she decides fuck it, I will just kill myself, the main girl has her friends stop her and tells her she doesn't get to kill herself because it might hurt Eiji? Like that she looks all self determination and is basically condemned to eternal torment from teens til whenever main girl decides she is allowed to kill herself

Like I get some of those things happening, but after a point it just gets funny. But oh well, its a fun story where the NTRed actually gets a happy end and the NTR man and the cheating girl gets theirs, so won't complain. I just find it a tad silly.
It is a bit over the top, to be fair, yes, but overall, it's different from most manga with a similar story I know, so still a nice read.
