The real mastermind behind all of this is

the literature club president. She was the one who planted the idea to the soccer wannabe cunt to steal the MC's girl, and she was the one who spread the false rumors about the MC around. All because she was jealous that he was better than her at writing. Apparently, the first method she tried to use on him was to try to seduce him, but he shot that bitch down because he's faithful, although it turned out to be pointless as his omega cunt of a ex-gf wasn't faithful whatsoever. Either way, the fact that she literally went this far to absolutely ruin someone so hard simply because she was jealous that she wasn't the number 1 and MC was. She lacked talent, and thus decided to NTR the MC, ruin his entire life, and basically caused him to attempt suicide. Had he succeeded with his suicide attempt, she would have been the murderer and knowing her she wouldn't have cared and would have ultimately been happy he killed himself. This bitch actually deserves to be gang raped to death.

Miyuki has way better looks than Ai but Ai has the better personality and that's something she won't lose with time, and seeing all the support our protagonist is getting from those around him makes it clear in the end he won more than he lost. Not reading the LN spoilers but can't wait to see how things go on.

They just haven’t gotten to that point in the LN book yet, but it’s right around the corner… be patient!

Believe me, I wanna witness Kondo’s whole corrupt, diseased temple of lies being brought right back down around his ears and on the top of his head too, and I’ve got the bowl of popcorn waiting!

Not that I dont appreciate the reverse of "everyone hates the mc because of one asshole said it was like that and everyone believed them" type of stories.....but with as many supporters that have come out of the woodwork in complete above and beyond defense of the guy, was the "everyone hates mc" like....4 people in total or something? XD

It's my only problem with this story (well, besides 3 days in the story taking 1+ year irl). Almost literally half of the screentime is spent on one person after another telling MC in great detail how much they care and how they will do anything for him and he did nothing wrong.
Which is all nice and good irl, but doesn't make for the most exciting reading. One or two times was enough to get the idea.

Oh, I want to read more about the protection squad. Ofc see the culprits suffer, but what tends to go under the most is the team working around the victim - the heroes often forgot about. The teachers, his mom (and even the former mayor wtf), his childhood friend, and now even another victim who befriended MC who gets to be vigilante.
The building romance of MC and FMC is cute, but still shallow tbh and much too straightforward; and too often presented. So the other aspects of the revenge story bear so much more fruit and potential!

Honestly, it feels like a blatant "revenge fantasy" story, but it's surprisingly fresh in how the author delivers it.
Usually, in most revenge stories, it goes like this: the MC goes on a massive glow-up, gets superpowers, returns to the past, and so on.
But here, his past bonds, good deeds, and friendships with others are the ones who helped him.
