YES, there is!!

A lot of people here already hate that ntr douchebag Kondo and that stupid HOE-BAG Miyuki, but what they HAVEN’T seen yet or may have only caught a glimpse of in the early chapters if they were paying attention, is who ORCHESTRATED the whole thing and POINTED Kondo in Eiji/ Miyuki’s direction in the first place! News flash, it’s not just Kondo… he was just the TOOL in the story (LITERALLY)! The main puppeteer here is the female leader of the literature club, TACHIBANA! Her reasons..? Simply since she herself failed to seduce, entice and distract Eiji away from finishing his own work on a great novel he was working on in the club. After failing in her attempt to seduce and lure Eiji into cheating, she then turned to using Kondo to target and destroy Eiji’s relationship with Miyuki… and all because of her own JEALOUSYi OF HIS TALENT! And believe it or not… it wasn’t her FIRST time using Kondo to that effect, EITHER! She secretly also had a relationship with Kondo herself earlier in life and used Kondo to destroy the relationship between Endo and Eri! But this time she will be caught in the middle of her own web of lies and ends up in almost just as much trouble as Kondo in the end!

I personally find Tachibana's entire motive to be comically hilarious.

But more than that, the funniest part is the massive fucking butterfly effect it caused. Imagine inadvertently causing a massive change in your country's government because you felt jealous over your junior's literary talents. It's 100% intended by the author to be comical, because I honestly couldn't take that particular part seriously.

She assumed that Miyuki wasn't, you know, a scumbag. A person she's known for about 10 years wouldn't be cheating on her best friend since preschool so blatantly and openly.
I think 10 years of being acquainted would give them some leeway and trust.
It's not like she was going to be 'Why did you break up with my son?', or ask her son 'Why did you break up with Miyuki?'.
It is literally stated in the chapter, meaning that your media literacy is really poor.
