i can't help but feel "it took that long just for that?" well, it's not like i know anything about translations but it's frustrating having only this to show for how long we've waited

Heronia’s the type of character I hate the most. Super entitled, thinking they’re right all the time. Or not thinking at all hahahah I’m kimda sad that it’s coming to an end (if it follows the lightnovel)

Why did this comment section have to remind me that amnesia is a trope that exists? 🤮

Wow, this chapter felt soo short compared to the usual, maybe it's because of less text.

Also cool birb, makes me hope birb helps redeem heronia a bit somehow, most of the reasons she seems like a villain is that she seems to assume the people there aren't "real" and they're just game characters, maybe cool birb's plot twist can change her mind.

@MrMichael not really a spoiler despite having read the wn to completion, as this is still in the speculation zone imo. But I would still classify it as a spoiler as the speculation is based on stuff that is shown later, even if I dont explicitly mention it.
Regarding heronia:
I feel like she very much knows the people there are real. Rather, that her actions are as they are exactly because she deems it real and precious. That things turned out the way they did seems to me like it is more of a result from her considering the otome game as something prophetic (Sort of like a lighter take on the idea of fate/destiny/narrative that is brought up in "My Sister the Heroine, and I the Villainess") combines with the prince's faction intentionally stringing her along and playing into her assumptions to ensure this event.
You can really tell this from her desperation in becoming the "fated one" of the prince. She clearly gave up on the other romance targets pretty early, even if she was not the happiest about it (if anything, that event is what I argue is defining for proof of her realizing it actually is a real world, and that things are not set in stone by npc's, but that there is free will). But the prince is the one target she desperately clings to, and she confronted mc in a prior chapter about how that one in particular she cant give up on.

As for an actual explicit spoiler:
The bird also did not help things, with how it used its magic to charm the surroundings (sure it did it with goodwill and gratitude to heronia in mind, but a kid proudly showing a picture of their mother with the plumber might not always be a good thing). It left heroinia still thinking she actually is a fated special existence (iirc it felt like it was shown that she was not actually aware of the bird casting charm on everyone), and she strikes me in general as someone who is weak to external validation, growing blind of the possibility of being incorrect. And validation is something she received aplenty as a result of the charm.

Yikes Heronia, that kind of stupidity and ignorance are just too much, there's no way after such insult she will survive... that's just asking the kingdom to execute her. Anyway RIP bird, honestly this is one of extreme heroine looking at that bird actually can brainwash people and she's actually charming the targets with the help of it in the game.

@feha Heronia
Are you sure? Doesn't seem that way to me though.
“W, weird. This is weird! Everything had gone smoothly until I entered Halm Academy, so why did things become like this? I thought that my happy harem life would begin the moment I entered the academy, but why?! This kind of conclusion shouldn’t have existed within that game!! Even though I am the heroine!!”

Now youre all alone Heronia. Without bird to cheat you through life, youre just an insane person and a criminal at that.
Now would you kindly just DIE.

@IMACOP
I mean, it is weird, is it not? Things were going exactly as she describes, so she did hold expectations for it to continue so. She is no doubt a special existence, a heroine, holding an oracle of the world in her head. And has received validation of how special she is for the entire time both before and after she enters the story. The only things that did not go as the prediction said is that the less important capture targets rejected her, which she accepted with only a little bit of whining (after a large bit of not realizing it). So she could clearly grasp that they are individuals not bound by fate, and was not so selfish she tried to force it self-rightously.
But for what reason was she given an oracle if not to capture the capture-target of paramount importance? And her dropping the phrase "fated one" should make the prince understand what she is referring to (and thus pick her), considering what he said in the end of the game/oracle. It would be unthinkable for it to have just been romantic babble!

I don't remember which chapter that quote you used comes from btw. But as you quoted it in a spoiler I assume its from a future one when she finds out the birds fate? Which only serves to make her outburst even more understandable, the outcome is the absolute worst and completely disproportionate to what a saint trying to save the world expects.
...Though I remembered her reaction as being more subdued than that. But it makes more sense that my memory is off than the context of your quote, as it was a while I read it.

Fucking psychopathic brainlets can't see the og mc girl is trying her best to avoid the "bad ending", where the prince goes full Genghis Khan and steamrolls the entire continent.
I'd get pretty violent too if I has failling to prevent such a brutal war.

Finally, dumb bird is dead.

Now Heronia's head just needs to be lopped off and we'll have a happy ending... if prince survives of course.
