You get used to it. I'm at the point where it's basically that "Oh no, anyway" meme even if I like something quite a bit. I practically have a separate bookmark folder just for things that got cancelled, might need to even start sorting them by subcategories like "due to author's death" and "annihilated by magazine popularity polls"

I enjoyed the story and am disappointed it got the axe. That said, the chapters were really short, the whole thing could have been 10-15 proper chapters instead of 40 micro chapters. Would have liked to see the kingdom's schemer have a more prolonged death rather than the instant tunneler troop route.. Would not object if this got a different adaptation or if a different mangaka picked it up where it leaves off since it sounds like the LN/WN are complete and well past the end of this manga adaptation.
