If anyone knows of any good translation software/websites that you think might help, I'd appreciate some recommendations. Before this project I had never even heard of DeepL, but it turned out to be a huge help in making things sound more natural.

This blog is quite good for searching japanese slang.
For instance it says that the terms "rubbing content" "shiquality" and "onapet" also mean similar to side dish .
