I am curious. If the sealing device just like that, not completely erase the portal, then there's a high chance someone gonna dive into the core and destroy the sealing device.

That just assuming if it's even theoretically possible.

I'm betting the solution is to raise the dungeon conversation style. If they need materials from it, people can be employed taking care of the environment and then doing controlled hunts for materials.

If he's half the merchant I think he is, he'll hopefully apologise for letting everything get to this point in the first place

To be honest, I feel even very well planned and controlled breeding of monsters for materials can backfire and shouldn't be done. Also, it must have already been attempted, it's not like its some revolutionary impossible-to-come-up-with idea. But it's obvious the author will go for it anyway. Kinda a letdown.

Perhaps! Regardless, Yuufi and Meiri are twice the merchant he is, so it'll likely get resolved not only amicably, but profitably. :sneaky:

I do like that the dungeon cores are basically DOOM portals left unchecked, so monsters keep popping out of em

The ancient civilization did a Jurassic Park!

While it's true that dinosaurs periodically escape and a few dozen people get eaten, the annual ticket sales create a lot of value for the shareholders. And all those janitors and groundskeepers rely on the park for their jobs! Besides most of the staff are from costa rica, so... [/satire]
You implying my country is cheap labor :pout: ?
But seriously, this is more Dino Crisis than Jurassic Park.

If you're doing stuff with the potential to end civilization, you could just not do that (make it illegal) or hold off until the potential negative consequences can be contained.

Furthermore, I feel like this is not well thought out and monsters should be starfish aliens if they're being summoned from other dimensions. It requires a speculative biology artist to draw those, so they don't do it, but...

Can't anyone just go down there and undo the seal whenever they want? I guess it's hard to make it out alive when you do that, but it's not impossible. Also it's unclear where those sealing devices come from. They're ancient technology but can still be made?
Because that's ever stopped merchants from getting their profits, and we're certainly not doing anything similar at the moment.
