I know it's sort of the premise of the manga but Cid's character is starting to somewhat wear on me. I think it was with the return-to-earth arc, that really put it into stark contrast just how much of a massive sociopath he actually is.

Zeta is quite different from LN, they give her some of the Delta silliness. Me likes.

No, she showed up while treated as if we (and mc) already knew her. Obviously an author wouldn't do that - particularly not with childhood friends showing up in a romcom - so we must have known her before

Cid was so focused on maintaining his mob status that he forgot to study. That's genuinely hilarious. You'd think he can do the exams with how powerful he is but nope, he's just cripplingly overspecialised.

When you have a goal of being the OP Broken character in the whole universe, of course you're going to extremely compromise other aspects. Cid spend his S.P.E.C.I.A.L points to STR, PER, END, AGL & LUCK with CHR being passively buffed and only INT suffered to 1.

Zeta being as silly as Delta is largely something the manga did as in the novels she was much more serious and brooding. Stray Cat Zeta however is an absolsute win.
