Also, I’m thinking the brother is a red herring. It’s really Dr. Yuuka behind the scenes setting all of this off. It also explains why they went after Cid, since he deduced what happened accurately.

And the craziest of all, I think Akane is the first knight. It would explain her power, the pills the doctor was feeding her, the memory loss, PTSD, and why her brother is working so hard to find a cure for the madness.

Not asking for spoilers btw LN readers, just my predictions.

Like at least with the fantasy world he could be given somewhat of a pass. "Oh he just thinks this is normal fantasy shit and not a literal plot to summon the devil. He's just an oblivious idiot". But this is the real world - his old world - and all this madness is happening HERE.

I'm still enjoying this manga, but man he's crazier and more heartless than I thought.

But in reality his mobfu game is getting worse. What happened to moving his organs with magic, allowing himself to get cut, temporarily cutting off his heart and playing dead only to recessitate himself using magic when everyone leaves the room while almost all magic has been restricted?
Not complaining, but he is slipping. I blame over reliance on blood bags. He has now forgotten how to actually bleed and technically die.
