Dont you love it when the plan we arent told about involves a power we arent told about?
Is this even writing? Just do whatever at this point not like theres any logical consistency
Good writing is setting boundaries and having characters work around them. This is just playground fantasy.

What makes you think it's a power we don't know about? Even if it is, we know for a fact that the katana resonate with their users even from afar. As far as we know we're just expanding that rather than breaking any of the world's rules. Or are you implying you know everything about this world's system and the katana's capabilities?

If he can somehow teleport to the sword or summon it, that's very much within the limits of what I would have imagined his ownership of the sword enables him to do. These are swords that can only be used by one person after all, makes sense they can't just be lost. Not everything you weren't told about constitutes an asspull.

Yeah... We don't know jack shit... And then we slowly grow to learn more, that's how stories work. The author is making anything up in the sense that they're writing a story.

Theres a massive differene between world building and making stuff up on the spot to plug a hole in the story to keep it going.
Its the difference between a guy stealing a hammer 10 chapters earlier or the thing materializing in his hands out of nowhere.
If they had told us that MC can feel where the sword is or teleport to it then this would be decent writing but this ability coming into existence the second its needed is just lazy.
Yeah I can see that

You took 4 likes to say "it's an ass-pull". The problem is tho, that it isn't. It ties in well into his and the sword's abilities. If you think the mangaka doesn't have to give his editor at least several chapters worth of plot in advance and he's just winging it week to week, you're naive.

Where's the plothole. You can't call a new ability that builds upon their resonance with katanas a plothole, that's not how it works.

Nothing's even happened yet, you don't know what Chihiro's gonna do, so why act like something's even happened?
