People always vote it 1 star just because they hate the clearly obvious themes.
I mean it's clearly labeled seinen, gore, sexual violence, harem. It's quite a bit darker than some other manga that also has these themes, yes. But you should still expect something out of those themes, don't just vote it 1 star out of spite. Although... same with the 10 stars. People seriously have to stop just voting 10 and 1 just because.

@TooruGlitch This is a problem with all series on Mangadex. Series have just way higher (or in some cases way lower) score than they should. People just vote 10 way too often in general but you also have people that vote 1 just because the series has one thing that they don't like. Theoretically it should balance itself out but unfortunately it doesn't work out like that most of the time and the score becomes incredibly unreliable.

It actually isn't, atleast not on Mangadex. From reading comments every time I read a manga on this site, I see a lot of comments like "how disgusting this piece of fictional media is" "hahaha yurifags btfo" and similar comments.

The author spent like 4 chapters reestablishing how bad the sword hero is, on top of all the chapters of the series that established how bad the heroes are. This series has come to a bit of a stall, a lot of chapters just repeating over and over about how bad the heroes are. They introduced a new character and nothing has happened. It just drones on about how bad the heroes are.

Like this one time I was reading a manga where the MC was drugged and made into a sex slave by the heroes, so the heroes could get stronger. So the author spent over 200 pages establishing the fact that the heroes, who might I add are bad people, were in fact bad people. After he managed to free him self the MC said he would get his revenge on the bad heroes. Then this one chapter did a flash back showing just how bad the heroes treated him establishing how bad the heroes are. Then the commentary in our MC's mind about how horrible the heroes are told us in detail just how horrible they are. For the others hating on the people who voted this 1/10, I need to remind you that the heroes in this manga are bad people. It was only rated so poorly just because all the other heroes are bad people. Making sure to cover his bases, even during fights are MC will let us know just horrible the heroes are. It even gave the perspective from someone else to let the read know just how bad the heroes are. So nearly 20 chapters later when the story begins to progress, the author makes sure to let us know just how horrible the heroes are. I am glad the author was able to convey just how horrible these heroes are, they are terrible people.

10/10 would read again.

quick edit, cant wait for the other hero arcs to establish how bad the heroes are. fingers crossed.

MC is a semi idiot. Corruption (Heal) Can be used to do many more things than just kill. For example, If you wanted to torture someone you could corrupt their body to make their pain receptors send higher frequency electrical signals to make them feel more pain. or you could incapacitate a mage by using corruption to make their mana circulatory system end outside the body, making all the mana in their body bottom out in a matter of seconds. Although using the power of heal to kill people is smart, not too smart with the way he was using it.
