Usually, when there's great sucessful series it's only matter of time until many copied it to death. Yet somehow, such a great series like fireren barely have any copies. Which is sad, because we already have too many permutation of fired from hero party, otome game villaines, great mage from the past, or something-something trash skills
To be fair, it can be quite a difficult premise since it involves writers to actually think outside the box and focus on world-building or character driving, instead of relying on tropes like the ones you mentioned. So probably that's why it isn't as widely used, and when it is, we get very interesting stories like this one. Honestly Frieren was not only a breath of fresh air that was sorely needed, but also revolutionary in both premise, storytelling, etc. that writers should definitely learn from.

Bro must be so tired from the loops.. but he definitely would loop as many times as it takes just so he could save her. Seriously respecting this dude's dedication. (But I think he should definitely contact that astral guy and more scholars to research into it since he definitely would not have enough knowledge to save her from the demon king if he only went through his journey..)

It's definitely not an easy task. But with so little competition, the payoff should be as great.
