Initial premise is a Dude who gets teased by his younger girlfriend. Now it’s Dude who is surrounded by girls who are in love with him and his girlfriend who’s also there sometimes.

For context, they started an arc about them trying to have their first kiss. That was about 100 chapters ago and has yet to be resolved.

Yeah the first “rival” was fine because she was clearly written to be comically failing, not even realizing that he and his gf were dating due to a misunderstanding and he never really got flustered by her, and she was more or less helping them “get together”

The second was when it all went down hill because she was actively meddlesome, frequently made both leads flustered, got incredibly close to them incredibly quick, actively paved the road for the harem situation, and most importantly wasn’t funny.

Oh looks like a second rival shows up for Tomo. A first year he helped before fell in love with him. Ibuki and the transfer student are kinda like bro's right now. There doesn't seem to be much of anything between them. Most of the "drama" is with Tomo and the new girl. She helping push Tomo towards Ibuki unintentionally. Uhg the trope is tiring haha.

I wish it was just this., I looked through the RAWs on the authors Twitter. Ibuki and this new guy apparently become the new main couple, making Ibuki and Tomoaki crush one sided from Tomoakis side. Ibuki seems to start only viewing Tomoaki as an old friend and becomes infatuated with this new MF instead of her childhood friend.

I read the future RAW chapters. They don't just become bros.. They become hella close, like their practically going out, Ibuki lost all interest in Tomoaki for this new ass of a character. If it was going to end up with them two they should've never added in Tomoaki as a character, such an idiot author tbh.

Nah I wish that's all it was, but if you check out the future untranslated chapters on the authors Twitter, you'll see that Ibuki is infatuated with this new guy and loses all interest in her childhood friend Tomoaki. It sucks but that's the direction that this lame ass author wants to go in. It's not a love story about Ibuki and Tomoaki, it's about Tomoakis one sided crush and Ibuki finding love with this new annoying character who's better than Tomoaki apparently.

You guys have to relax and give this new guy a chance. He might be the push needed for Tomo and Ibuki to finally stop skirting around each other and meet at the middle

It's story itself setting the doom and gloom with every little tidbit (like the horoscope and soulmate stuff). You can't really blame the reader for lashing out immidiately upon seeing those since we've seen this happening hundreds of times. Baiting is as hated as the real thing most of the time.
