I'm very fond of this manga, but I just have to quibble with something here. I get to page 5 of this chapter and Ibuki's mom is talking on the phone to Tomo's mom like it's the first time ever, and then the parents are meeting for the first time and stuff. WTF? Tomo and Ibuki have been inseparable since they were kids, how did their parents completely avoid contact all these years?

It's possibly a Japanese thing, like that trope of summer break magically preventing schoolmates from meeting up more than once or twice in a month.
