The author's been pretty good with dodging bad genre pitfalls so far, so the evil secretly hateful mastermind manipulating for maximum emotional damage would be a bad direction for the series to go, but it's still not out of the question just yet.

From what I'm reading so far...such a great validation of emotions. So so good. while not trans, I did completly felt (feel?) all the time that I do things halfway...while it really is just a point in the journey.
