@hikufalafel while i half agree you also have to remember that every time he's tried to be decisive and grew balls something happened that forced him to back down or shut up. it's happened EVERY SINGLE TIME and thats the frustrating part. I was fine when there was evidence that he would grow but every opportunity for growth he's had has been squashed by other characters. So I think the potential for him to be an ok character is there, maybe even a good one, but it needs to not be constantly squashed for plot convenience.
