Anime version of beryl genuinely looks old. I’m not getting great vibes from it though, cuz i can’t tell how intentional it is.


But holy [e%crement] the chapter. as for the reason why the sword didn’t break, earlier in the chapter he shifted all of his defense into his sword, because it was the only way it would survive clashing with beryl’s blade.

This is like the best sword fight I've seen in a manga ever. They're not just swinging and doing thoughtless sword fight like 90% of action manga but an actual battle between two swordmasters.
