Just me or are the recent chapters more of the bad/dark ending type?
I think the theme for these recent chapters have been people Kaya wasn't able to help for one reason or another. They got us used to her being able to one punch save the day and now they're starting to take away our security blanket lol.

This is some real german fairytale shit, you feel me?
You mean the unadulterated grimm tales fashion?

Reading the "original" "uncensored" grim tales was more like softcore porn.

Also sounds like the tale along the lines of some devout christian in a burning building.

He was confident god will save him, when his neighbour tried to help him, he refused and said god will save him.

Then the police tried to save the man, but he refused the help because he was sure god will save him.

Last but not least, the fireman tried to save him but he still refused help because, god will save him.

He burned to death, and in heaven he asked why god did not save him. God replied, I did try to save you. I sent the neighbour, police and fireman to save you.

Im not surprised at the end, I expected it from when the father explained why its better to wear a rain coat (lol at her reaction :D), but I didnt expect that the author to actually follow through with it and kill the kid off.

@ isekaing kids with your car: Ofc I dont have the conceitedness to say this will never happen to me, but if you drive on familar ground at morning time, you KNOW the spots where children go to school and usually adjust the speed, especially if you see them walking near you. But yeah, probably nothing you can do, if the kid doesnt follow the rules and just crosses out of nowhere. Then even having low speed still may kill the kid.
