I just hope it doesn't get a bad adaptation like angel next door and some other romcoms

Given that this would be adapting from manga as its source, it can have a bit more hope of being a better adaptation. Light novels (Angel Next Door, etc) are really hard to adapt well, given how much is in the source material that an adaptation isn't practically able to cover.

Since we have canon proof that they have emoji's of their own faces, It might work out to some degree? Like their faces could still be changing as they text each other in the background- making them true background characters. Not hearing their voices so much as they text.

I guess I'm just thinking of Yuru Camp and how they handled (some) texting scenes.
