She does not work in the adult video industry she is just a regular actress. She literally gets recognized by multiple side characters because she's so famous, and she's rich enough to casually eat in stupid expensive restaurants. You think she's doing porn? It'd literally ruin her whole career.

It just so happens that in chapter 9 she was recording a more explicit scene, but it was for a regular movie, not porn. The director even cuts the scene before they do anything explicit, which wouldn't be the case with porn.
