Usually I pull for the childhood friend, but there's something offputting about Yaotome-kun. Definitely feels like the controlling type, here's hoping it doesn't become a major issue, but we'll find out later!

As you might have seen on the last page, we've reached the end of Ganma's "free sample" of the manga on desktop, meaning I'll have to find a way to get the raws at a decent quality from mobile. I have a few ideas, but it might take me awhile to find a proper solution. If I can't get the raws in good condition I'll have to drop this series, though I'm hoping it won't come to that. I'll update this comment in the future though if that becomes the case.

While I do agree that the new guy is sus, it's an understandable reaction to finding out that your childhood (girl) friend is suddenly living with an adult man.

Oh absolutely it’s reasonable, and how you’d hope a friend would react I think. It was his first little bit of interaction though that has me going “hmmm.”

I think the thing that frustrates me about the current set up is that I have this thought that the characters give this feeling that drama could be diffused with even a small amount of explanation; though that does also seem like the kind of solution that would anyways deconstruct the trope. The problem is that the very nature of "keeping the streaming identity a secret" is the kind of situation that would force the misunderstanding drama trope to happen regardless.

its always funny to me when manga has a (seemingly) reasonably-minded character that has a very understandable reaction to a plot situation but because its a conflict wedge to the wish fulfillment theyre very obviously portrayed as sinister. i mean just look at the lighting and framing of all the pages childhood friend-kun is shown, he straight up looks like a villain. most of what we know from his character is that he's conventionally attractive and he's concerned about his friend skipping school and living with an adult stranger

Yup, absolutely. I agree his reaction is perfectly reasonable, the only part of him I don't like is how possessive he seems to the point where the MFL seemingly can't make friends partially as a result of him

Hey, I can provide the raws up to chapter 29 from the Ganma app. I believe the raws should be high quality enough as I do provide raws for Wolf-chan for Osis to scanlate.

Can confirm that Wushu is the savior of Wolf-chan. Just a heads up that if you get the same kind of raws I do, you'll want to crop off 25 px from the top and bottom of each page.
