So we finally get an explanation. It's a bit of a cliche in itself, but at least it makes sense and gives her a reason for her attraction to him. I just wish they had done that at the end of the first chapter, or maybe the second if they wanted to push it. Because waiting anywhere from 1 to 4 months (depending on whether this series is published weekly or monthly in Japan) just to get the central conceit of their relationship so that every other action can make sense is a hilariously risky proposition. If I were reading this at original publication speed, there's no way I'd wait this long to get the excuse for their mostly boring paint-by-numbers behavior in the first 3 chapters before I would decide to drop it and read something that was actually willing to move the plot along.

Like I said, I like the idea that he was the only one to notice her discomfort because everyone's put her up on a pedestal and is too pushy about what they think is the right way to enjoy one's time, but I don't like how long it took to get here.

I hate this trope but I can't bring myself to stop reading because of this "read till it ends" mentality :angery:

Huh now that I think about it, maybe this is also why I always check the ending first before finally start reading it

I agree with you. The Cougar nickname didn't sit well with me either. I understand your going with a more literal translation but married woman doesn't really have the same conotation to me as I'm assuming it does in Japanese. It's just a woman that is married.

She is said to be beautiful, kind, caring and close to perfect. She calls herself everyones Onee-chan in this chapter, so would Elder Sister or Perfect Sister or something along those lines fit better? Since they're the for heavenly beauties, the Heavenly Sister or Goddess Sister?

She also does not like her nickname, so it should also probably sound a little pretentious.

Kuroya respected Kasumi's love for books? What an amazing dude. No wonder she was willing to give him a chance. He lied and told off her friends who were pretty much abusing her kindness. He should be more confident, he got quite a cute girl as his girlfriend!

I wonder if falling in love with her made him become very nervous. That would make sense, he used to be quite bold.
