lel, Elina random challenge duel to MC > trigger MC true power > then Elina loses
Yes xD all of them are lol. These ballistas are totally facing the wrong way...
nah it makes sense. if he didn't win the duel first then she would assume the apology was because he was trying to avoid the duel because he feared he'd lose or somethingIs he going to apologize anyway? Feels weird to accept the duel, beat her up, and then give her what she asked for afterwards.
She also wouldn't take it as seriously, because she'd assume he's only apologizing because he was forced to by the terms of the duel.nah it makes sense. if he didn't win the duel first then she would assume the apology was because he was trying to avoid the duel because he feared he'd lose or something
Also js made them and did absolutely nothing with themThese ballistas are totally facing the wrong way...
My confusion is coming from this whole duel feeling super forced. If Vento is the way she thinks, forcing this duel would be suicide for her family. MC apparently stopped a hostile takeover, but in a way that involved no communication or apology in the first place? She also wouldn't take it as seriously, because she'd assume he's only apologizing because he was forced to by the terms of the duel.
Beating her and still giving her what she wants sends a far more effective message.
Think that's exactly the point. The MC and his proxies has place so much pressure on her and her family she isn't in a good place mentally. Now suddenly the harassment is gone and the source of her family's torment has turned passive and almost meek. To say she is confused is an understatement and she still has a lot of resentment, worry and pain to process. So a duel, while being a poor choice as an outlet, might make sense to her already compromised and traumatized brain. What in her right mind would convince her that she would win against a genius in the first place? Not only that, she's challenging an antagonist who could crush her and her family again in a heart beat. If she was wary she wouldn't provoke him again.
O . oI get she's in distress but come on. I wish female characters were written better lol
Yeah touché to the last point. But I've seen a handful of shounen/isekai that have well written female protagonists, so it's a few droplets in the desert I guess.Think that's exactly the point. NGL, you're in the wrong media if you want well defined characters, of any gender. Basement dwelling manchildren have only a tenuous grasp of reality on the best of days, what makes you think they could faithfully depict what a normal person is like, let alone someone of a different gender?
This is how you get sold into a brothel...or married.giving an open ended do anything reward for a mere apoloogy
but it is pretty damned par for the course when it comes to titles in this particular genre, for better or (much more likely) for worse. This is how you get sold into a brothel...or married.
This series feels like trash but there's a grain of something interesting about it.but it is pretty damned par for the course when it comes to titles in this particular genre, for better or (much more likely) for worse.
