On one hand, I want Cool to have broad enough appeal to get sold.Daaaamn, we need more of those Saikawa panels like that occasionally!
Especially if it can make the idiots upset and leave back to Twitter where they belong.
Thers a spin-off manga for Kanna and Elma wich is basically the family friendly version.I fucking hate the fact this author has so much potential for a beautiful slice of life anime and ruins it by HEAVILY sexualizing children i love kobayashi to the fullest but it's shit like this chapter i cant recommend it and it really breaks my heart. I felt a bit disgusted reading the chapter thb and DONT GET me started on shouta and lucoa ew
then just skip it all fool, you skipping it doesn't keep it from happeningI skip the chapters with the weird shit. As I literally stated. When the weird shit is over I'll come back. I like the general premise.
fairly certain fafnir and takiya's spinoff is also pretty safe in that regard.Thers a spin-off manga for Kanna and Elma wich is basically the family friendly version.
Exactly this. Unless you're an obnoxious prick about it, normal people don't really give a shit about what sorts of things you like. If they like it as well, they may join in on discussions about it, and if it isn't their taste, they'll usually leave it alone. On one hand, I want Cool to have broad enough appeal to get sold.
On the other hand, people bothered enough to have meltdown over stuff like that aren't the type to ever buy manga (or merchandise) in the first place, too afraid that their colleagues would crucify them, with words like "Aren't you too old to read children comics?"
You can hear the insecurities on display "What would the boss say? What would your mother?" First of all, fuck bothering people about things they aren't interested by, you're going to get a bad reaction 9/10, like if somebody tried to come to me and explain why the latest volleyball match was so great, "you like ogling barely adult girls, and hearing them grunt, man?" would be an asshole thing I could answer with, which leads me to the second point
Most people around you won't care enough to shit on whatever it is you do or like, unless you specifically bother them about it. I've seen people come to work in ahegao shirts (and it was physical, old people kind of work), and elicit less than a confused comment, than guys who were talking about how fucked-up drunk they'll get right after work.
I didn't mean that he needs it, I meant more in the sense that veering into some things hard enough can be either beneficial or disastrous. Cases in point "Watamote" I think only rose in popularity after becoming more slice of life and going for yuri appeal, whereas Usagi Drop lives in infamy after the ending, though it's hard to gauge its effect since it was the ending.[above]
