Lucoa then used the excuse of being Shouta's familiar to turn down Petla's attempts to get her Yuri-Pregnant, so Petla decides to become the second familiar to get an in through a future threesome.

Seriously, Lucoa chapters are the best of this manga. I think that Shouta's feelings for Lucoa will grow along with his powers as a mage as he gets older--maybe even proportionally so; and when he's ready for Lucoa, he's probably going to shake the worlds for her. Theirs has the potential to be the greatest romance in this setting.
It's just a total shame that Lucoa's spinoff is penned by a fat fetishist--and no one seems to notice how off-model that guy draws Lucoa in order to feed that fetish. Utamaro aside, people here (and across the West, for that matter) seem to be hellbent on weaponizing pedophilia accusations against things they don't like--like, I suspect, Lucoa herself. It would be strange if for the reason I suspect, since Lucoa's just one of the bustiest of a cast full of busty dragon girls, but I've never expected logicality from such people: they tend to think tsurime on a girl are attractive, and not indicative of a harsh demeanor you could only like if you're a masochist.
Lucoa herself
did state that she has no intention of pursuing Shouta in earnest (i.e., waxing physical) until he's older and ready--so she said either in this manga or her spinoff--and so one can easily tell that she's really just teasing the hell out of him in the meantime. Their relationship is a whole lot more wholesome than such people give it credit for, and so it was--once again--in this chapter's end. This, yet people act like she was
seriously gearing up to rape him or was already in the process of doing so.
It's probably due to what I've said elsewhere:
many people today, as soon as they see large breasts, immediately think of nothing but prurience--as if they're masses of pure obscenity, and the girls that have them are filthy fonts of depravity.
