Great Scott! The bug is an even worse influence than I thought. Is there even any way to turn her back or is she forever bug-eyed now?

Regardless, thank you for your work!

She thought she was resolved, but she hadn't steeled herself for destroying the OPM before things got this bad.

Towa really being portrayed as ..if not the, then a "Big Bad" of this story.

Hard to argue that she's still trying to fight for the sake of humanity when it seems like she's so far gone, even compared to the other queens. I can understand the need to evolve as a species to ensure one's survival, but there's a real argument in debating what it means to "be human", and whether something like Reika's action here isn't making their collective struggle meaningless, when an entire sect is following a queen whose core philosophy borders on fanatic zealotry like this.

And now that Reika appears to be lost....I guess we'll see.

Also, thank you for the continued work on this series. I had no idea I would be so riveted to this story when I stumbled upon it earlier this year, but

I now get butterflies in my stomach every time I see it update.

Huh that last line is interesting, white is one of the colors that makes dirt stand the most
white represents purity as an ideal in a lot of cultures and time periods precisely because even the slightest imperfection stands out in stark relief, meaning constant vigilance against any temptation must be carefully protected and maintained at all times.

And I guess in a bit of fateful irony, it's also the color most easy to taint, for the very same reason.

Oh, no. She budged out.

Seriously though. I read that the LN ends with this fight's conclusion. My question is this: Will this manga go beyond the LN or will it end just like the LN?

Abandoned the WN on 22th chapter, just hope it continues as this created by the same author of MagiRevo, which still ongoing.

Lol, what the heck author even intend with Reika ? giving all flashback to show how likeable she was. then all we got is: She become different person because awaken. but i still don't get her motive at all, if it just: she have different personally but same history and memory. all this talk doesn't help

And now, is she about change to different person again one more time ?

My understanding is that when awakening, the bugs take away a part of you, so what reika lost was her memories of friendship with ayumi, so now she thinks she's being looked down upon. This distorted her original motive of being the one who's able to protect ayumi. This memory loss is probably irrecoverable as well, she sacrificed all her memories for power, so they'll have to start afresh.

WN, although I do hope Piero rewrite the LN for publishing since the manga already modified and added scenes.

This also goes back to a nice lil' joke.

The lazy smoker bought the newest invention to hit the road, the almighty Ford Model T.

Why,you may ask?

Because he didn't need to dust the ashes off of it.
