Goodbye, actually bearable sci-fi yuri plot. You died just as all other sci-fi yuri plots do, by focusing too much on the yuri and not enough on the sci-fi. Back to Otherside Picnic I go.

This being the end is insane. The sheer amount of potential this had to go bittersweet, dark, hopeful, really anything at all, just to have it end as a sorta 'life will go on' vibe really hurts...

I knew it, I know this is one of the manga that end with short chapter, I knew this would coming and I hate the Fact the I was right. I want my hunch to be wrong by nope, they end with a small amount of chapter. I WISH IT WAS LONGER, WHHHHYYYYYY!

I feel cheated 😑 The author starts a new series after MagiRevo right? The one with magic teacher and her three pupils I think, is that a yuri? This one feels like it's just a short story they wrote in their free time.

Terrible year for quirky manga enjoyer, at least 3 yuri manga I've followed got axed. At least 2 ended the same way this one did and then also a bunch of other unique stories the name of which I can no longer remember that got cancelled earlier this year. Wonderful really.

Regardless, thank you for all your work! :aquadrink:

All this build up for nothing is wild. Endless questions and nothing is explored. Whats worse is idk why ayumi isnt over reika... like why r u so hellbent on someone that hates ur guts and practically spits on u with how horribly they treat u. Whats she ever done to u ayumi other than shamelessly backstabbing after everything u did for her?

This was a waste of a concept. There was so much left unexplored , the nature of opm's, what the white queens motives are, the fight with the insects, the opm inside ayumi and how it differs from the others, why do the opms apart from the black queen consume memories when they germinate, ayumi's other friend who had issues with jealousy, what syumi herself wants, and on and on.

We spent so long in world building and creating questions, just to never get any answers to any of it. This was practically the end of the first beginning arc of a story. If the ending was planned to be here, this should have never been more than a one shot without any of the world building.

Utter tragedy to see a world and story with so much potential just say done at the end of what feels much more like a first arch. So many unanswered questions and unexplored characters

I don't know what to tell you, Garan no Hime was heavily focused on the sci-fi, and Twinstar Cyclone was in between, and both were axed anyway.

Twinstar was fun, but I felt it didn’t really have the kind of visceral edgy appeal that this story has, while simultaneously lacking the whimsical meandering through novel environments of Girl’s Last Tour that it could have had via its spaceship exile plot. You could just make a yuri version of Rebuild World and it would be a hit. Or a yuri version of Kino’s Journey, it would probably be good but I wouldn’t like it.

Haven’t heard of that first one so I’ll give it a shot.
